Who is Ons Jabeur's husband? Fencer Karim Kamoun is also Wimbledon finalist's trainer
Ons Jabeur is in the form of her life as she storms into the finals of the Wimbledon championships this year. She has been one of the major highlights of the 2022 season on the Women's Tennis Association tour. Jabeur was first introduced to tennis at age three by her mother. She reached two junior major girls' singles finals at the French Open in 2010 and 2011, winning the latter and becoming the first Arab to win a junior major since 1964.
Her biggest supporter is probably her husband, Karim Kamoun who is a constant figure in her player's box at the tournament. And this is not only limited to Wimbledon, he has been seen accompanying her at every event this year. Although Jabeur is on a mission for making a name and an illustrious career for herself, not many people know about her husband.

Who is Karim Kamoun?
Kamoun is a Russian-Tunisian fencer who has represented his country, Tunisia, in several international competitions over many years. Kamoun and Jabeur dated each other for a couple of years before they decided to tie the knot in the year 2015. He also has a master's degree in sports science and has now made a transition to becoming a full-time physical trainer for the World No 2. He has regularly accompanied her to every tour since then.

Jabeur and Kamoun have become hugely popular in their home country, all thanks to her incredible form in recent times, a situation the World No. 2 is more than happy to be in. "When I go back to Tunisia, people are very happy to see me. Even when they're driving, people sometimes clap and cheer for me. My husband, Karim, jokes he doesn't want to go to the shopping mall with me anymore because it gets too busy with people coming up to me. But I love it," Jabeur wrote in a column for the BBC. "It is great connecting with people, it is part of my journey. I love seeing them and seeing their support. That's one of the reasons why I started playing tennis".
Jabeur scripts history at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships
Jabeur made history at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. She became the first Arab or North African player to reach the finals of a Grand Slam. She is also the first African player to achieve the feat. The 27-year-old's previous best result at a Major had been reaching the quarterfinals, meaning that she has added yet another feather to her brilliant 2022 season. She also won the Madrid Open a few weeks back to lift her first WTA1000 title and rose to a career-high ranking of World No. 2.

It seems that everything happens for a reason. The early exits of several top contenders have made the Tunisian now the favorite to win the title at SW19 and is only one win away from scripting history. The World No. 2 defeated Tatjana Maria in the penultimate fixture and will face Elena Rybakina in the final.
