LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During the Blind Auditions Part 2 of 'The Voice' Season 25, an exceptionally talented individual by the name of Nathan Chester graced the stage. With utmost confidence and a voice that could move mountains, he fearlessly embarked on his musical journey, choosing to perform a mesmerizing rendition of the timeless classic 'Take Me To The River' by the legendary AI Green.

Two judges including John Legend and Dan + Shay turned their chairs for Nathan. On the other hand, Chance the Rapper and Reba McEntire didn't turn their chairs because they thought Nathan would be a better fit for John's team. And at the end, Nathan ended up joining Team Legend.

However, it looks like the netizens didn't like Nathan's act.

One social media user wrote, "Hell no."

Another user added, "Okay soul."

Followed by a user who penned, "He was awful. Why is he wearing a prison jumpsuit? Worst season ever."

An X user  echooed the same sentiments and said, "He was okay."

'The Voice' contestant Nathan Chester is the founder of EM&N Productions

Nathna Chester has gained extensive experience as both a cover singer and in musical theater. He is currently working as a co-founder of EM&N Productions with his partner Emily Viancourt. They have performed a show called 'Ebony and Ivory: A Jazzy Affair' together on Celebrity Cruises for at least a year, according to Emily's Instagram posts.

EM&N Productions has introduced a new show called 'Cruise Control,' featuring a duo performing top soul and Motown music.

When did Nathan Chester begin his singing career?

Nathan's love for music began when he performed with the show choir at Oak Park and River Forest High School in the Chicago suburbs, as stated in his biography on the Crane River Theater website.

He continued his education in voice at Waldorf University and studied musical theater and dance at the University of Central Missouri. His musical theater experience includes roles in productions of 'Rock of Ages,' '9 to 5,' 'The Wizard of Oz,' and 'Hairspray.'

In 2019, Nathan was involved in a new musical called 'Starry' at Feinstein's 54 Below in New York, inspired by letters exchanged between Vincent Van Gogh and his brother Theo. A cast album for the musical was released in November 2020.

At the time, he was performing as Joe Viba when he was cast as Theo in the musical. He sang on nine of the album's tracks and also released music under the same name. Although three of his singles are still accessible, it seems that his 2020 EP is no longer available.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Nathan has been working as a full-time singer since at least 2018, as he mentioned being motivated after his first Voice audition.

'The Voice' Season 25 airs at 8 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. The episodes will be available on Peacock on demand the next day. The streaming site also includes entire episodes from the show's prior seasons.
