Who is Mongraal? IShowSpeed expresses frustration after losing a $10K wager to Fortnite player, Internet says YouTuber had 'no shot'

During a recent livestream, Mongraal and IShowSpeed decided to participate in a 1v1 challenge on OG Fortnite for a jaw-dropping wager of $10,000

CINCINNATI, OHIO: Kyle Jackson aka Mongraal, is a prominent Fortnite player with an impressive following of over four million on Instagram. He's also active on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, where he mostly uploads gaming content.

Currently, he's making headlines for causing the prominent YouTuber IShowSpeed to incur a loss of over $10,000 during a 1v1 challenge.

In context, the challenge between the duo arose when Speed talked about it during a livestream. They subsequently engaged in a 1v1 challenge on OG Fortnite, agreeing to a jaw-dropping $10,000 wager, and Speed unfortunately lost. 

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Speed has failed at the game, as he previously faced defeat against SypherPK while playing Fortnite. 

What happened during IShowSpeed's Fortnite battle with Mongraal?

For context, IShowSpeed is known for taking on significant challenges against professional gamers on social media to demonstrate his gaming skills. Therefore, it came as no surprise to fans when Speed challenged Mongraal, a prominent Fortnite creator, to a 1v1 match in OG Fortnite. 

Subsequently, Mongraal set up a custom server for the ultimate Battle Royale, offering a grand prize of $10,000. The game began with both participants giving their all with Speed being deeply immersed and highly focused on the game. 

Despite demonstrating impressive skills and decision-making in the Fortnite 1v1, Speed ultimately lost to Mongraal, one of the top Fortnite players, as he struggled to keep up with the pace and fell victim to a surprise shot. 

After Mongraal's victory, he stated that Speed had just lost $10,000. Speed couldn't believe his luck and was deeply disappointed by the loss.

Meanwhile, Mongraal remarked, "You had three chances at $10,000, and I practically gave it to you for free. But I guess I’m lucky, bro," only for Speed to say, "My girl eat my duty a**."

Internet reacts to IShowSpeed's loss against Mongraal

Soon after their livestream, a clip featuring IShowSpeed raging after his loss from Mongraal went viral, with many commenting with their thoughts on the 1v1 challenge.

One said, "I don't blame him TBH,"  as another noted, "He can recover that $10,000 in no time. We understand he needs to stay in character to boost revenue." 

A person wrote, "Wait, is Speed actually good at games? I swear I’ve never seen him play anything, only rage," while a user opined, "I never know if he’s actually mad or faking it. It makes sense why he appeals to kids, because I couldn’t find this entertaining." 

"He must’ve known he had no shot 😂 10k is like an hour's work for Speed. Why rage after losing to one of the best players of all time?" stated another person.
