Popular YouTuber Dream known as Minecraft Speedrunner was recently doxed and fans have dug out the possible penalty and jail time for the alleged doxing if proven. On Monday, January 4 evening, a new trend started by his antis called #RIPDream also started trending.  Dream, however, isn’t paying heed to antis as he joined the ongoing #RIPDream trend and even blamed YouTuber Sapnap for allegedly killing him.  Dream acknowledged the hashtag with a tweet, saying, “can’t believe Dream died.”

Who doxxed Dream?

To put the whole matter in context, a few days ago, some fans of the Youtuber found out that the Youtuber has been doxxed and some of his private information like his address may have been discovered by a troll group. According to his fans, a troll group used a picture of the Minecraft runner’s kitchen to find out the address of the YouTuber.  The doxxing led to the YouTuber deleting the said post.

Dream fans didn’t take the doxing lightly as they came forward with receipts that say that such doxxing if proven can be fined up to $5000 and additional jail time for twelve months. Other fans are saying that people who doxxed Dream should rather go to mental asylum. A fan wrote, “People that doxed@dream because he didn’t reveal his face need to be admitted to a mental asylum because you’re a trash human being.” Another said, “He wasnt doxxed by stans it was a group on reddit that made it very clear that they hated him with a burning passion. His fake face reveal had nothing to do with it.”

His ‘stans’ found out about the incident couple of days ago and Internet users jokingly said, now the Youtuber would have to actually run for his life as his crazy stans might just come to his house. A user wrote, “Dream got doxed so i hope hes ready for 1 speedrunner vs 15,000,000 hunters”, while another said, “Dream got doxed, mf gonna be playing minecraft manhunt irl when crazy fans show up to his place”, to which a user replied, “Dude they posted the deed to this man's HOUSE!”

#RIPDream

The hashtag #RIPDream was started apparently by his antis. But due to a large amount of people participating, the hashtag started trending. Dream fans also started trending #WeloveyouDream next to show support for the YouTuber. Others claimed that his antis also tried to edit his Wikipedia page.

A fan posted, “Hey guys for the tag #RIPdream he’s not actually hurt it’s antis that are making jokes since there was a misconception the other day that he got doxxed (he didn’t) please don’t worry about him he’s ok it’s giving many people anxiety so please stop.” Dream on the other hand, took it lighter as he used his personal account to make more jokes on it using the hashtag. He wrote, “sapnap is a murderer pass it on #ripdream” referring to the YouTuber Sapnap. Another user said, “Damn they really went past tense on dream's wikipedia page already #RIPDream” A user joked, “Just got back from Dream’s funeral, my condolences and best wishes to his family during this trying time. Things will never be the same without him.”

All jokes aside, Dream isn't hurt and his comic replies to the antis only make him more appealing to his fans.
