Not much is known about the 'Jeopardy!' host's family members or her romantic life, though she is always open to sharing updates from her day-to-day life, especially on her podcast, 'Bialik Breakdown.'
'The Big Bang Theory' actress has also kept under wraps her relationship with ex-husband Michael Stone, from whom she separated almost 10 years ago. Here's all you need to know about the ex-partners who have stayed connected after all these years.
Who is Michael Stone?
Michael Stone and Bialik met sometime around 1998 when they were both students at UCLA. They started dating while in college and Bialik had apparently asked Stone that she would only marry someone who had faith in Judaism. This was an issue as Stone was brought up as a Mormon. But love was more important to Stone than his faith as he decided to convert to Judaism to marry Bialik, 5 years into their relationship in 2003. The two share two sons between them, the older one named Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone, born in 2005, is 17 years old while the younger one is Frederick, born in 2008.
What was the reason behind Mayim Bialik's divorce?
The couple decided to separate in 2012, and their divorce was finalized in 2013. Bialik announced her separation through a blog post on Kveller in which she gave the reason for their divorce as “Irreconcilable Differences.” She and Stone decided to share the responsibility of parenting their two sons through shared custody and this has continued to keep them close even after all these years.
"Divorce is terribly sad, painful, and incomprehensible for children. It is not something we have decided lightly," she wrote in her post, "The hands-on style of parenting we practice played no role in the changes that led to this decision; relationships are complicated no matter what style of parenting you choose." Even after years of separation, Bialik and Stone spend time together to give their sons a perfect family experience.
Bialik had another long-term relationship which didn't end well for her. But currently, she is in a happy relationship with Jonathan Cohen who is also working on her side as the co-host of her podcast 'Bialik Breakdown.'
