Maya is charming, confident, and clearly has a great sense of humor, which is exactly what you want in a student leader. The video, which was shared on the @maya4stuco account features Maya and her friends in a series of skits that parody scenes from Mean Girls, like the iconic "you can't sit with us" lunchroom scene. Maya nails the comedic timing and knows exactly how to play up the parallels between her campaign and the movie. In addition to being funny, the video also shows off Maya's leadership skills and her commitment to making a difference at her school.

“Maya’s single so I broke up with my boyfriend," said one girl at the beginning of the video as she teasingly pushed her boyfriend away. Next up, two male students can be seen saying, “Maya likes boys so I like boys.” This is followed by a girl with long curly hair who says, “Maya said she liked my curly hair, so I never straightened it again.”

In a hilarious TikTok video that parodies a scene from the iconic movie Mean Girls, Maya's classmates take their adoration to a new level by showering her with compliments. Little did they know, this video would go viral and reach people all over the world, cementing Maya's status as a worldwide name.
