DUSSELDORF, GERMANY: Reporter and editor Matt Wilkinson has been covering the royal family for The Sun since March 2020 and has been a part of the publication for almost 10 years, revealing an array of global exclusives, including Queen Elizabeth II's overnight stay in the hospital.
The journalist has covered the royal family all around the world, including Kate and William's Caribbean tour, Megxit, the deaths of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II, and the Platinum Jubilee, to name a few events.
However, recently, Wilkinson came under fire as he was spotted sneakily taking pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at a sporting event in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry slam Matt Wilkinson for sneakily taking their pictures
Following the release of the viral clip showing Matt Wilkinson secretly taking pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the couple's fans immediately took to social media to slam the royal reporter.
One fan wrote, "I don’t get it why he trying to be sneaky they have been taking pictures all day with the crowds what is he hoping to accomplish."
Another quipped, "How did he even get in? I thought they sprayed holy water at each entrance to keep out demons?"
"You can tell he looks shady by the way he quickly snaps his camera," stated another, while one exclaimed, "He is so creepy, his body language has a sinister feel to it, like he’s eavesdropping. There’s something really off about him. Security!"
A user wrote, "He says that Harry doesn’t be having fun but he’s sitting there staring at them with a straight face and snapping photos. He’s going to go home to his hotel and write nasty articles."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend the Invictus Games
Meghan Markle and Price Harry attended the Invictus Games held in Dusseldorf, Germany, which was founded by the Duke of Sussex in 2014.
Meghan was spotted presenting medals to Team USA, who won gold in wheelchair basketball, after supporting them during the swimming final.
The event took place inside the Dusseldorf Airport's conference center and was co-hosted by Chairman and CEO Ken Fisher and Dave Coker, President of the Fisher House Foundation.
Invictus Games, a week-long event for disabled military veterans involves a variety of sports and challenges, as per The Sun.
