Who is Mason Rizzo?
Mason Rizzo, the one to start the conversation about alleged abuse carried out by Gomez, claimed that he is Jack and James Wright's friend from when the three of them were in kindergarten. In his original post which is now deleted, he had claimed that it was hard to see this particular influencer get appreciation and praised.
Born in Temecula, California, Rizzo is a 17-year-old. He creates short-form comedy content on the micro-video blogging website. His fame on TikTok increased as he posted reactions and comedy videos. He has over 170,000 followers. He made his TikTok debut in 2016 and recently in March 2020, Rizzo created a duet video featuring Charli D'Amelio. It was set to the music of Kesha.
In comparison, Jack who is also a part of the social group The Hype House has over 8 million followers on TikTok. He posts dancing videos and was known as an entertainer. He began posting on TikTok in 2016 too. The 18-year-old has also collaborated with Charli D'Amelio and Addison Rae among others. James Wright has a following of 3.8 million on the social media site. After his initial message where he alleged Gomez was "verbally and physically abusive" went viral and other individuals also opened up about the alleged abuse, Rizzo deleted his tweet. He claimed, "The Wright family, Sienna’s family, and I have decided to delete all information about the situation and handle it off of social media."
Similarly, Sienna Mae Gomez also took to her Instagram account to share, "Friends fight and relationships sometimes change, but allegations of a criminal act are not to be thrown around loosely. Making an untrue sexual assault claim is never okay. I’m beyond saddened by this situation. In order for us to all move forward, I will be taking this offline with Jack. Thank you to all who have reached out with love and concern." As of now, however, neither Jack nor Gomez has confirmed the status of their relationship.
