SAINT-TROPEZ, FRANCE: Maria Beregova, the 22-year-old model who was photographed at a party with Leonardo DiCaprio in St Tropez, was formerly married to a person whose grandfather was the right-hand man of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Just hours after it became known that he had split from model Camila Morrone, 25, pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio with a new, much younger woman surfaced on the Internet. The 47-year-old Oscar winner, who has been mocked on the Internet for his penchant for breaking up with women when they turn 25, was seen walking with Beregova.
The pictures, taken in July, apparently show the group leaving a nightclub in St Tropez with DiCaprio's friend and fellow actor Tobey Maguire. The 'Shutter Island' star, who has never publicly dated a woman over the age of 25, reportedly met Beregova in St Tropez in July. According to Daily Mail, Maria Beregova flew to the south of France after splitting from her husband Ahmed Masoud Abdelhafid, a Monaco-based businessman and fashion mogul. She also started using her maiden name after divorcing her former husband.

The 30-year-old Abdelhafid is also reportedly the grandson of Massoud Abdelhafid, the interior minister and right-hand man to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. After Gaddafi's overthrow and assassination, Massoud senior fled to Cairo, where he reportedly died of illness in 2015. Beregova was born and raised in Switzerland but now resides in London, where she is pursuing her studies to take over the family pharmaceutical business. The 22-year-old model is very active on social media and frequently shares her opulent lifestyle photos with her 40.1K Instagram followers.
Meanwhile, according to a source who spoke to The Sun this week, the ‘Titanic’ actor and ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ actress Morrone, his former girlfriend of four years, split up quietly early this summer. DiCaprio and Morrone began dating in 2017 when she was just 20 years old. They made their awards show debut at the 2020 Oscars. According to insiders close to DiCaprio, he and Morrone have recently become less close.
According to the source, “Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer. There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.” Other A-list women DiCaprio has dated who were 25 or younger at the time of their relationship include Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, Nina Agdal, and Gisele Bundchen, with whom he dated for six years until 2005.
