NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Bravo's popular cooking show, 'Top Chef', has announced Kristen Kish as the new host. Kish, who was the winner of Season 10 of the acclaimed show, will be taking over from Padma Lakshmi, who bid the show farewell after the conclusion of Season 20, titled 'Top Chef: World All-Stars'.

Kish has certainly established herself as a prominent figure in the culinary world, captivating audiences with her appearances on various TV shows. From co-hosting Netflix's 'Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend' to exploring new culinary territories in 'Restaurants at the End of the World', she has become one of TV's most sought-after chefs. Kish got engaged to Bianca Dusic in 2019 and got married in 2021. Just like her wife, Dusic is involved in the hospitality industry as the VP of Food and Beverage for The Standard Hotels. Kish shared the joyous news of their engagement on Instagram, along with a sweet photo of the couple showcasing their new diamond rings. She captioned the photo, "She said YES to a lifetime of Sunday morning coffee dates and bed head."

Even though Dusic and Kish got married more than two years ago, the two have been together for quite some time now. However, it is currently unknown when the two met. As for the new role, Kish expressed her enthusiasm, highlighting that ‘Top Chef’ was where her own culinary journey began. She said, "I am most excited to get to know an incredible group of chefs and to be reunited with a lot of friends that are on and off camera in the production,” adding, “I am at a loss for words still, a little bit, but I promise I’ll find those, come Season 21.”

Outgoing host Lakshmi too reacted to the big news by sharing a sweet snap with Kish. She wrote, "I’m so proud of you @KristenLKish and am over the moon that you’ll be taking over for me on @BravoTopChef!!! I’ll be rooting for you and our whole crew next season. Congratulations!!!" Krish has previously been a guest judge on the show numerous times and was fast considered a frontrunner for the hosting role.
