Kimmy has appeared on Holly Randall’s Unfiltered podcast, where she says that her dad struggled to deal with her career in her early days. “My dad, when he did find out, it was traumatizing. He was mortified, he wanted to die,” she said. “He was like, ‘what the f**k did I do wrong as a father?’ No dad wants that for their kids.”
The successful porn star and OnlyFans creator has now revealed that her relationship with her father has improved since then. Granger said that when her father initially learned about her job, she didn't contact him for a few months to give him "the space he needed" to process everything. “I don’t ever want him to think that I went into this to hurt him,” she explained. “I went into this because I wanted it, I really genuinely feel like it’s the right thing for me, I love love love this job," she said.
But he has now come around to the idea, even "proud" that she is "happy" and "stable." "It was almost like porn brought my dad and I closer together' said Granger. "My dad and I never were super close, I was always focused on my mum. My mum was an alcoholic and she was just gone, she was done with life."
