Prison guard turned pornstar Isabelle Deltore, 40, who has now been in the adult entertainment industry for 13 years, has shared her take on what most people are doing wrong in bed. According to Deltore, lack of communication between partners is the most common mistake people seem to make during sex.
Isabelle is often spotted with former prisoner Dale Egan, 31, whom she hit it off with after the duo shot a scene together. The two happened to bond over their understanding of life behind bars. Dale also shared his opinions and stated that people often tend to not ask what the other person likes, which can lead to failures or half-hearted encounters in the bedroom.

"I've seen how people harbor a sense of shame attached to sex," Isabelle told News.com.au. "Things like having sex with the lights off, not communicating what they like or don't like, and being embarrassed to try new things. My advice is to explore. Explore yourself, and your partner," she added. Isabelle says there is no shame in a woman taking control of her sex life and deciding to go at her own pace. Her own pace might translate to having multiple partners, having sex on the first date, or waiting until the time is right. It's all fine and right for a woman to decide and act according to what she wants.
Dale agreed that it is a very common mistake people make to not ask about their partner's preferences and what they like in bed. ''There is no communication before having sex. Everyone likes something different. The way you are with one partner might not work with another. It's so important to communicate," Dale stated.
Both Dale and Isabelle earn six figures every year. Dale even boasted that he made more than the Prime Minister's $549,250 salary last year. Contrary to his earnings now, Dale had left school when he was only 14 years old. Isabelle, on the other hand, has a double degree in social work and human services, which she got because she wanted to 'change the world.'
After completing University, she went to the Department of Justice and worked in prisons. "I was always very conservative. I'd wear no makeup, button up my shirt and everything was loose. Yet I was still spoken to with disrespect and judged very harshly just because of the way I looked," Deltore said, speaking about her life before she joined the adult entertainment industry.
She started working one night a week in a strip club where she would make two weeks' worth of salary in one night, prompting her to eventually leave her day job behind.
