Kevin Turen's death creates a 'profound sense of loss'
Born in Manhattan, Kevin dreamed of joining the entertainment industry right from the beginning. He moved to Los Angeles after studying cinema at Columbia University. Kevin made his production debut with Larry Clark's 2005 film 'Wassup Rockers'.
His close personal friend and CEO of Deadlines's parent company, PMC, Jay Penske, remembered the late producer as someone very passionate about his family and friends.
"Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin's greatest passion was his family and friends. He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world," he said.
"Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today," said Penske.
'Euphoria' faces a second tragedy with Kevin Turen's death
