LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ken Jennings, the current host of 'Jeopardy!', has lived a good part of the last 20 years surrounded by cameras and on TV. He has achieved much success in the game show scene of Hollywood and worldwide as well.

Despite that, not much is known about his personal life as he prefers to keep most of it private. But Ken has shared a few rare insights into his family, which is made up of his wife and two children. Here's all you need to know about the 'Jeopardy!' super champ's wife Mindy Jennings.

Who is Mindy Jennings?

Mindy and Ken met when they were both attending Brigham Young University to pursue further studies. While Ken was doing a double major in Computer Science and English, Mindy was pursuing drama at the university in Provo, Utah.

In an interview with The Week, Ken revealed that they had fallen for each other while at Brigham and he had already told Mindy's roommate that he was going to propose to her. He didn't even wait until after they had graduated to get down on one knee and by the time they were attending their convocation ceremony, they were already engaged.

The two tied the knot a few months after they got out of college and Mindy decided to become a preschool teacher. Ken had followed his career path as an engineer which he would soon give up after his life was altered by 'Jeopardy!'. He instead decided to take his extensive trivia knowledge and the introduction to writing through his English major in writing children's books.

Ken also revealed that his wife was the only person who knew of his participation in the game show while he was a contestant. Mindy had previously told The Week, "He mostly wanted people to know he was funny. He's not the type of person who wants you to know he knows everything." The couple shares two children between them. Dylan, who was born two years after their marriage in 2002, and daughter Caitlin, later born in 2006.
