Who is Josh Hope? Paranormal Tiktoker Josh Hope claims he contacted Matthew Perry on 'the other side'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Josh Hope, a Tiktoker known for his paranormal videos where he contacts dead celebrities from the afterlife, has recently shared a long clip claiming that it showed a conversation between him and late 'Friends' star Matthew Perry.
The 54-year-old actor was discovered dead in a hot tub at his residence on October 28. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed officially.
In a 25-minute-long video, Hope shared some intriguing messages which he alleges are from the deceased actor who is on "the other side" at present, reported The Blast.
Josh Hope reached out to 'Matthew Perry's spirit' to seek answers
In the recording, Hope is seen making contact with entities he refers to as "guides," who then went on to connect him with Perry. The medium began the conversation by enquiring how Perry was doing and whether he was able to communicate, to which the actor is said to have replied, "Yes sir."
Hope proceeded to ask, "Now that you are on the other side, how do you feel?" The spirit of the actor allegedly responded, "Miss slowly. I am homesick."
Attempting to reassure the spirit that it was his "job" to converse with the deceased, Hope said, "You are loved. You will be missed. Many people are devastated by your loss at 54 years old, and I wanted to give you a real chance for you to be able to speak and share some of your thoughts and offer you help in any way, even if it's just a prayer from a fellow, you know, recovering alcoholic and addict."
He then asked, "Can I ask you what happened to you? Did you have a heart attack?" and Perry claimed to have replied, "Hittin' the balls... killed me."
Hope also questioned the spirit about Perry's final Instagram post which showed the actor in a jacuzzi against the backdrop of a dark-blue night sky, and whether he felt "any pain" before death. Perry allegedly responded that he "was scared."
The video goes on to show Hope's conversations with the alleged spirit on alcoholism and substance abuse. At one point, Perry's ghost is claimed to have said that he would miss his fans.
Fans skeptical about Matthew Perry claim
While some believed the entire video to be a hoax, others who believe in the supernatural felt that it was not probable to connect with the late actor so soon after his deeath.
"Never believed that these are the actual spirits of who they say they are. Just my opinion," commented one user.
"There are people that actually knew him and loved him, I hope they don’t come across this," wrote another.
"I was told people who died can't come through straight away; they go into a period of dream state first for awhile," wrote a third.
"I don’t really believe in all of this but it’s given me some level of comfort, so thank you for that," stated another.
