Harold Ford Jr's wife: 'The Five' host is happily married to swimwear entrepreneur Emily Threlkeld

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While Harold Ford Jr is not playing the role of the designated democrat on Fox News, he is with his lovely family, which includes his wife, Emily Threlkeld. 

The long-married couple Harold and Emily are a reserved couple and have kept their relationship and private life away from the public eye. 

However, every once in a while, the former US Congressman shares rare snippets of his life through his social media accounts and gives a glimpse into his happy family along with two children.

Who is Emily Threlkeld?

Emily is a design consultant who owns and runs her own brand called Basta Surf. The brand is based in New York City and is a collaboration between Emily herself and a designer named Samantha August. 

The brand has been worn by several celebrities as well.

Emily and her co-founder friend came to find the swimwear line because of their love for the ocean and so, part of the profit goes towards the organization named Waves4Water which provides clean water to areas that face scarcity. 

Harold Ford Jr dated wife for 4 years 

Harold and Emily first crossed paths at a wedding all the way back in 2004. They both ended up dating right after and it took them four years to tie the knot in 2008. 

They had a spring wedding in April of that year and became life partners at the Trinity Cathedral in Miami, Florida. 

The couple shares two children between them. Emily first gave birth to their daughter named Georgia Walker Ford in the December of 2013.

Soon after, the couple also had a son, becoming the third Harold in the line of the Fords. 

Harold, like his wife, is quiet about his family and their life on his social media accounts where he has thousands of followers.

In one of the last updates he shared from last year, he revealed that his daughter Georgia is a star football player on her school team. 

While Emily has an Instagram account herself, she has not kept it open to the public.
