Who is Gary Pagar? DaBaby 'sucker-punched' 65-year-old man amid argument during music video shoot
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: DaBaby is currently dealing with a lawsuit filed by a 65-year-old man who claims to have been assaulted during an unauthorized music video shoot. The rapper is actively pushing for the trial's postponement until the resolution of his own criminal case linked to the same incident.
However, Gary Pagar, the plaintiff who lodged the lawsuit against DaBaby in 2021, is steadfastly advocating for the trial to proceed promptly, without any additional delays, as per court documents obained by Radar Online.
Who is Gary Pagar?
In December 2021, Gary Pagar, 65, alleged that he was physically assaulted by DaBaby while he was attempting to prevent the rapper's entourage from filming a video on his property in Los Angeles.

What is the lawsuit against DaBaby?
In his lawsuit, Pagar said he rented his property to the rapper and his friends. The agreement stated that no more than 12 people were allowed on the property.
But later, Pagar found out that the rapper had more than 12 people for a music video shoot. Upon being informed of this, Pagar personally drove to the residence to address the matter.
The homeowner discovered that there were more than 40 people at the property. He confronted DaBaby and insisted that people vacate the premises.
Pagar reportedly got spat on, and DaBaby followed him inside his house. Their argument continued and DaBaby allegedly punched him in the face, making several of his teeth fall out.
The lawsuit claimed that DaBaby cautioned Pagar against contacting the police. However, Pagar went ahead and called 911, although the rapper left before the authorities arrived.
The legal complaint accused DaBaby and his group of causing damage to the property, resulting in substantial repair costs amounting to thousands of dollars for Pagar. The lawsuit seeks unspecified compensation for damages.
Additionally, Pagar disclosed that both a real estate agent and an eyewitness named Patrick Michael provided testimony affirming that they saw DaBaby assault Pagar on the day of the incident.
Michael testified that the rapper had "sucker-punched" the homeowner. As of now, a judge has not yet reached a decision on the matter.
