Who is Gabbi Tuft's wife? First WWE star to transition received full support from partner Priscilla
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Gabbi Tuft, the first-ever WWE star who came out as transgender, went back to the arena as a visitor after retiring from pro wrestling in 2014. However, she wasn’t allowed to enter the backstage during the July 7 SmackDown in Madison Square Garden in New York. Absorbing the energy in the arena, the former WWE star who was known by her dreadlocked gladiator persona of Tyler Recks inside the ring, contemplated, “Actually, I really miss it. I didn't realize I would,” per The New York Times.
However, no matter how much she missed the throbbing energy of the arena, she was not allowed to enter backstage to meet her ex colleagues. While the management told the new outlet it was probably due to some “shortage of tickets,” Gabbi opined, “One never knows with Vince,” referring to the former CEO and current executive chairman of WWE. Gabbi, who has now transitioned fully into a woman, was once a man with a wife; the same wife supported her throughout the transition and still is her “best friend.”
Who is Gabbi Tuft’s wife?
The former pro wrestler is married to Priscilla Tuft. However, per The New York Times, the couple is in the middle of their divorce settlement. Gabbi (earlier Gabe) married Priscilla in 2002 and welcomed a daughter Mia in 2011. Fans started speculating about their separation after Gabbi posted a GRWM video on May 14, where she and her daughter Mia were getting ready to visit Priscilla in her apartment. In another video dated June 1, Gabbi confirmed that she and Priscilla were no longer together. However, they are still “best friends”.

While not much is known about Priscilla, from her social media it can be deduced that she has done a few modeling assignments and acted in television commercials. By her own admission, while she is a vegetarian and never had fast food for almost 17 years, she was the original Burger King chicken nugget girl. In a post from 2021, she wrote, “I don’t eat meat and I haven’t had fast food in 15 years yet I was the original Burger King chicken nugget girl. @ Calistoga, California.”
FUN FACT: I don’t eat meat and I haven’t had fast food in 15 years yet I was the original Burger King chicken nugget girl.

'We will always be twin flames, we love each other'
Priscilla has often appeared alongside Gabbi in many of her podcasts. She was also a pillar of support for Gabbi during her transitioning years. In one such podcast video that was recorded in November 2020, before Gabbie came out as transgender, the then couple talked about the changing course of their sexual dynamic. In the episode titled, ‘Is G gay?’ they responded to whether Gabbi was "attracted to men or women now that she is transitioning."
In that podcast, Gabbi hypothesized that she was interested in "seeing what it's like to be with a male," prompting Priscilla to say that it will "end our marriage, obviously." However, Priscilla conceded that it wouldn’t end their marriage in "an angry way.”
Priscilla further said, "Understand this is so new for us, we are both still desperately processing this entire situation that's going to turn our world upside-down for good," before adding that there have "definitely been some shifts in our relationship."
In a 2021 podcast, Priscilla also revealed about their sex life during the pre-transition days. She said, "We usually have sex pretty much every day and it's amazing. That's probably, I made him wait until we were married, but once we were married, no holds barred," before adding, "This has been challenging for me. It's something we enjoy, it's like an art form for us."
Priscilla said that when Gabbi first started presenting as both male and female, all she could see was her female form, despite Gabbi reverting back to the male form. She said, "It has been not something that I'm able to do to feel the desire to be sexually intimate with a woman. It's just ... I feel so guilty to say it, because I still see you as my person," before adding, "The energy has shifted, it's so definitive, there's no denying. The thought of making love to a female just isn't my thing. I can't really put my finger on it."
However, her love for her husband was very palpable in the podcast, where she said, “There are no words to describe how much I love this human being and I don't care whether this sweet individual is presenting male or female, because the soul is androgynous."
She added, "We understand things are going to change, we don't know how they're going to change, but we know we're desperately intertwined for life," and continued, "Whether that looks like marriage, awesome, whether that looks like roommates, neighbors, we don't know, but we know that we are lifers, we know that we adore each other, we will always be twin flames, we love each other," per Toofab.
