After years of service in the field, Eva was rewarded for her accomplishments by a place as the co-host of ‘Good Morning America: Weekend Edition.’ However, Eva recently made the jump to the show’s afternoon spin-off, ‘GMA3: What You Need To Know’, taking over from Amy Robach and TJ Holmes after their controversial exit from the show.
Unlike the previous hosts, Eva’s life is far away from any controversy. The 40-year-old host enjoys a quaint life with her husband, a child, and a dog. Eva’s husband is Ed Hartigan who works as a digital marketing and media director. Ed hails from England and graduated from Brunel University, London, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Honors in business. Ed had worked at RWS Moravia as a Digital Marketing and Media Director for a little over three years and then later joined Webhelp as the Director of Marketing Services in January 2022. As per Columbia Metropolitan, the couple initially met at a friend's wedding in Miami. However, they struck up a romance only after ABC sent Eva to London just the following weekend. They tied the knot back in 2019 and then welcomed a new French bulldog named Walter into the family.
Ed usually keeps off social media for most of his time but Eva, who is a television personality, keeps posting a few photos of her family life, just enough to give followers a glimpse to quench their thirst. Eva and Ed are both dedicated professionals but that did not stop them from starting a small family. The duo welcomed their first child in October 2021 with Eva sharing a post about her daughter’s birth. The 'GMA' anchor captioned the post, "Welcome to the world little Ella. She already seems to know what she wants… and she isn’t shy about voicing her opinion. seriously obsessed with this little girl." Ed and Eva believe in spending time with each other’s families and rejuvenating their connection with small outings once in a while.
