Who is Elizabeth Olsen's fiancé Robbie Arnett? A look at the Marvel star's love life ahead of 'WandaVision'
Elizabeth Olsen's star power exploded after she nabbed a role as Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ready to literally shake her fans up, Olsen is all set to appear in her own television series 'WandaVision' as well as the next 'Doctor Strange' film.
With all this limelight on her blooming career, there's much interest in her love life as well. Though Olsen is very private about her relationship, it was reported back in 2019 that Olsen and her beau, Robbie Arnett, were engaged. Well, here's what we know about her boyfriend and their love story.
Who is Robbie Arnett?
Born in California, Arnett graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and that's where he met his bandmates. He and some friends formed the group Milo Greene and Arnett plays instruments as well as lends his vocals. According to All Music, the band tasted success when they dropped their debut album 'Milo Greene'.
They’ve since released two other projects – 'Control' and 'Adult Contemporary' – and have provided music for films ('Fun Size') and TV shows such as 'Arrow' and 'Supernatural'.
How did they meet?
According to E!, they met while vacationing in Mexico. Both were in the country around the same time in February 2017. A month later, they were papped holding hands while walking down the street, and in September 2017, Olsen and Arnett made their debut at an Emmys event.
During a visit to 'Sway in the Morning' in 2017, Olsen mentioned Arnett's band on the show. “My boyfriend’s in a band called Milo Greene. I really like ‘em, and I like him.” Arnett shows his support and solidarity for Olsen by sharing her show and film photos on his Instagram page.
Olsen was engaged before Arnett
Though Olsen is deeply committed to Arnett, she was engaged to Boyd Holbrooke before him. They had met on the sets of a film, dated for three years and were engaged by 2014. They split, for reasons that are still unknown.
However, Olsen prefers not to talk about her past at all and dodges questions entirely. She joked to Refinery 29 that people were always romantically linking her to one of her co-stars, including Tom Hiddleston and Chris Evans. “Well, apparently, I’m dating Chris Evans, and apparently, I’ve dated Jeremy Renner, so I guess that… I don’t react to it.”
