SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: IT consultant Nima Momeni fatally stabbed CashApp inventor Bob Lee on April 4 after the two argued about the latter's sister Khazar Momeni. The suspect allegedly questioned Lee if he was doing "anything inappropriate" with Khazar, who is married to plastic surgeon Dr Dino Elyassnia. Officers responded to Lee's stabbing report at about 2.35 am on Tuesday, April 4, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

According to court documents, Lee's death was "planned and deliberate" when Nima drove him to an isolated place in San Francisco in the early hours of April 4 and stabbed him three times in the heart. This comes a day after the pair spent the evening with Khazar and another unidentified witness. It was discovered that the witness overheard Nima and Bob discussing if he "was doing drugs or anything inappropriate", as reported by Fox7Austin.

Who is Dino Elyassnia?

Dr Dino Elyassnia is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. Elyassnia and his family left Iran after the Iranian Revolution, coming from a family with Assyrian and Armenian background. He was raised in California and received his medical training at the University of Southern California, where he focused on cosmetic surgery. Dr Elyassnia married Khazar Momeni in 2013, as per his website Dinomd.

In this murder case, Nima Momeni is accused of questioning Lee about "inappropriate" interaction with his sister and drug use before fatally stabbing him on April 4 in the early morning hours. According to court documents, one of Lee's friends allegedly confessed to investigators that he believed her marriage might be in danger even though he was ignorant of any intimate contact between Khazar Momeni and Lee, as per reports.

But that is not the picture that 45-year-old Elyassnia has portrayed in his social media posts, comments with gossip publications, or an interview published in the San Francisco issue of lifestyle publication Haute Living.

Due to the influence of his two surgeon uncles, Elyassnia initially thought about becoming a heart surgeon, but later "found that he had an artistic side that would not be fully utilized as a vascular surgeon," as per reports.

Later, he began working at the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery, where he is currently practising. "Many people go to him for rhinoplasty," a Bay Area plastic surgery facility staff member told The Standard. He is regarded as being highly good but pricey. The Marten Clinic's receptionist informed The Standard that a nose job costs $18,000. Elyassnia's professional website says his office is a "sanctuary for beauty, aesthetic balance, and age-defying technology."

The couple, dressed in black and white, seemed to be solemn

Nima Momeni made a heart-shaped gesture towards his sister, Khazar Momeni, during his brief court appearance in San Francisco Superior Court on Friday morning, according to KTVU. When Nima appeared before Judge Christine Van Aken on murder charges related to the death of Lee, 43, the couple, dressed in black and white, appeared solemn.

Khazar Momeni and her plastic surgeon husband are being investigated after police executed a search warrant at Millennium Tower, the ultra-luxurious high-rise in which they own a $2 million home. Krista Lee, Lee's ex-wife, told KTVU on Friday that Momeni's name sounded familiar and that she may have met Khazar before. San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott confirmed the two men knew each other on Thursday but did not elaborate on how they were acquainted.

Krista Lee told the outlet that she had yet to learn why Momeni, CEO of IT infrastructure firm Expand IT, would target Lee, who had recently relocated to Miami, as reported by NewYork Post. Nima Momemi could receive a sentence ranging from 26 years to life in prison if found guilty. On April 25, he will be formally charged.
