Security footage showed injured Lee being ignored by bystanders

Security footage from the day of the murder that has not been released to the public showed the wounded entrepreneur begging for aid from bystanders but they ignored to help the dying father of two daughters.

The tragic footage showed the 43-year-old man who was MobileCoin's chief product officer before his murder, seeking help as he walked up to a car and lifted his shirt to show the driver that he was severely wounded. However, the vehicle drove off from the area without helping Lee. He then collapsed to the ground, as per local outlets who have seen the footage, reported New York Post

With no one to help, Lee called 911 himself and informed them that he has been stabbed and required help. The police who arrived at the scene found him unconscious and shifted him to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

"The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts by first responders and medical personnel, the victim succumbed to his injuries," said the San Francisco Police Department. The motive behind the murder remains unknown.

Lee recently moved to Miami thinking San Francisco was 'deteriorating'

Following Lee's murder, his friend and martial arts champion Jake Shields said that the Cash App founder believed that San Francisco was "deteriorating" and moved to Miami recently. Talking to News Nation, Shields said, "[Lee] did comment on San Francisco deteriorating which is why he actually had just relocated to Miami. So I’m not, I’m not sure why he’s going back there to get a little business back in San Francisco for a couple of days."
