LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx expressed his enduring love and gratitude for his younger sister, Deidra Dixon, in a sweet new birthday post with a heartfelt message that he "would not be here" if it was not for her. The 55-year-old actor shared nine pictures of Dixon along with a photo of the siblings hugging. The actor praised his sister for helping him make decisions that saved his life.
Foxx had a medical emergency in April. Although he and his family have not revealed what happened to him, it was reportedly serious. Only recently has he spoken about it, claiming he had been "to hell and back." He was extremely grateful to Dixon and his daughter, Corinne, for their help during his ordeal. Foxx's second younger sister, DeOndra, died on October 19, 2020, at the age of 36 per the Daily Mail.

Who is Deidra Dixon?
According to Celebrity Mirror, Dixon is a famous hairstylist who works on an array of prestigious projects. She is a creative and spiritual person who enjoys writing, painting and doing nails, but her area of expertise is hair. Dixon and DeOndra, who had Down Syndrome, were very close and were living together.
Dixon runs many behind-the-scenes departments in Hollywood. She has worked as a stylist on some movies including 'Avengers: Infinity War,' 'Black Panther', 'Marshall', 'Baby Driver', and 'Sleepless'.

What does Deidra Dixon do?
Dixon has contributed to movies, music videos and TV shows starring Foxx. She is always watching over the father of two. She is a member of the Tantra Tribe, a spiritual group.
Dixon was Chadwick Boseman's personal stylist during 'Black Panther'. She has styled the late actor for a number of appearances. Instead of writing poems, Dixon's writings tend to be one-liners and quotes. She emphasized on the importance of love, acceptance and self-motivation through her writings.

Foxx wished Dixon a happy birthday on Instagram on Tuesday, August 1. He wrote, "Happy birthday to my beautiful for sister @frequency11 “D”… you are magical you are beautiful you are the courageous lionesses #leoseason And without you I would not be here… had you not made the decisions that you made I would’ve lost my life…. I love you forever and ever happy birthday sis."

Foxx credits Dixon for making critical health decisions on his behalf, especially after the emergency he had. In an earlier post, Foxx said that his sister and daughter were the main reasons he was alive. He said, "To be honest with you, my sister Deidra Dixon, my daughter Corinne Marie saved my life. So today, and to God, to a lot of great medical people, I'm able to leave you this video. I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way."
