'Next In Fashion': Stylist Danny Godoy loves to 'experiment' with his designs for drag queens
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Next In Fashion' is all set to premiere soon after being initially canceled by Netflix. Season 2 will bring a group of talented designers together to compete for a cash prize of $200,000 and a chance to become a sensation in the fashion world. 'Next In Fashion' Season 2 is more special as it will feature A-list guests.
Supermodel and style icon Gigi Hadid will co-host with the TV personality Tan France, who will return as host of the fashion competition show. The streaming giant has shared a glimpse at the star guest judges including Hailey Bieber, Emma Chamberlain, Bella Hadid, and Donatella Versace. 'Next In Fashion' Season 2 also features some of the iconic fashion designers and Danny Godoy is among them only. He has created his own name with his unique style for "drag queens." He has also worked with several celebrities.

Who is Danny Godoy?
Danny has born and raised in Inglewood, California, to Mexican immigrant parents. He developed an immediate love for fashion and has always been in the creative world since he was just 4. Danny is also a trained Mexican Folklorico Dancer and kicked off his fashion journey at the age of 15. Danny attended FIDM in DTLA and received an AA in Fashion Design and Advanced Fashion Design. However, while attending FIDM, Danny also discovered the art of DRAG Transformation and now he is a full-time drag queen and has established a name for himself in Southern California. After graduating from FIDM, Danny started his career as a Fashion Designer and launched his own collection of bold, eye-popping looks. In a recent interview with Netflix Tudum, Danny revealed that his launch collection was inspired by "key moments" in his own life featuring "loved ones, where [he] grew up and [his] Mexican culture." He was previously known as the artist "Beverly Luxe" but he recently changed to GODOY. Danny has worked on several projects in the last decade, Some of his projects include, 'Master Class with Diane von Furstenberg', 'Project Runway Threads', 'Custom Clothing for RuPaul's Drag Race', 'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars', and 'RuPaul's Drag Race Live-Las Vegas', 'Pit Stop with BOB the Drag Queen' and 'Custom wear for Local Legends'. The fashion designer describes his target customer as a classic showgirl.
Danny designs for top drag queens
Danny has some of the most famous and top-talented celebrity clients. He has designed for the world’s top drag queens, including Naomi Smalls, Kim Chi, BOB, Raven, Raja, Manila Luzon, Ongina, Monique Heart, Monet Xchange, Tammie Brown, GottMik, Pandora Boxx, Morgan McMichaels, Mayhem Miller, Jiggly Caliente, Kelly Mantel, Willam Belli, and Mariah Balenciaga. And he just can't specify which look is his favorite. Danny loves what he creates when it comes to fashion. He also shared with Netflix that he falls "in love with every piece" he creates. However, he also revealed that nothing compares to the looks he makes for himself in drag because clothes allow him to "experiment, let loose and not only focus on the garment but the entire look, head to toe."
'Next In Fashion' Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on March 3, 2023.
