Danielle Salzedo, the head of strategy at A&A Management Group, recently spoke to Us Weekly, shedding light on Kelce's unique fashion journey.

Salzedo disclosed that Kelce possesses a clear vision for his personal aesthetic and actively styles himself.
Their working process is collaborative, with Salzedo helping Kelce curate outfits for various occasions, including game days and red-carpet appearances. She explained, “I know what he likes, and I find him options with brands we know are his vibe — while also looking for new ones yet to be discovered.”
What sets Kelce apart is his direct involvement in choosing and purchasing his designer products, she noted. Unlike some celebrities who receive items for free, Kelce actively participates in the clothing selection process.
Salzedo told Us, "He dedicates time to buying online, so he knows what’s out there and what’s new. He spends a significant amount of time on different retail and designer sites looking for new pieces and shopping. He’s bought pieces before we can even contact the brand to secure the items.”
Kelce's style knows no bounds when it comes to expressing himself through clothing. “He plays a lot with monochromatic sets as well as oversized [looks],” Salzedo shared. “He doesn’t shy away from mixing prints in unexpected ways.”

One of Kelce's most memorable fashion moments was after the Chiefs vs Chicago Bears game on September 24 when he was seen hand in hand with Taylor Swift.
He was sporting an off-white denim jacket adorned with an abstract blue illustration, complemented by matching pants from Kid Super.
This ensemble generated quite a buzz, with Swift's fans even comparing its colorway to Swift's '1989 (Taylor's Version)' artwork. The outfit caused such a stir that Kid Super renamed it from "Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket" to "1989 Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket."
Addressing the speculation surrounding the outfit, Salzedo clarified that Kelce had the Kid Super set in his closet beforehand. "I love the narrative being drawn to his looks,” she said.

Another fashion choice that drew attention was Kelce's curtain pants, which some thought resembled the bronze curtains featured in Swift's "Midnight Mayhem With Me" TikTok series from October 2022.
“They are playful, polished and cozy, which Travis always does so well,” Salzedo said to Us Weekly, adding, “I don’t have the answer to the [curtain theory]."
"However, when people authentically connect, they start to have those serendipitous coincidences,” she added.
Beyond his fashion endeavors, Kelce is making a name for himself behind the scenes. Salzedo revealed that he is the "first NFL player to ever design an official local club merch collab." His brand, Tru Kolors, and the Chiefs are gearing up to release a joint collection before the holiday season.
