‘Storage Wars’ stars Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante might look all good on the small screen despite not being together anymore, but the former is currently facing a domestic violence charge and it allegedly involves his ex Brandi, as reported by TMZ.

Law enforcement sources spilled the beans on the case and said that Schulz showed up at a bar in Orange County on April 30 where Brandi was chilling with her buddies.

It is reported that the two got into a heated argument and Brandi told Schulz to leave. When the latter did not comply, that’s when things went south. Schulz apparently pushed Brandi twice while yelling at her and her friends. Cops were called to the bar, but Jarrod had left by that time. A few days later Jarrod reportedly talked to the cops but denied putting hands on Brandi, TMZ reported. According to People magazine, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney's Office revealed that Schulz was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery in connection with the incident.

Who is Brandi Passante?

Brandi Passante is a popular TV personality who made her debut on the small screen with the A&E show ‘Storage Wars’ in 2010. The show focuses on people battling for abandoned storage lockers and then selling the items after bidding on them with an intention to earn profits. Passante appeared on the show with Schulz and they were soon given the moniker of 'The Young Gun', as they were the youngest on the show who impressed the viewers with their hilarious banter.

Passante has been on the popular show since Season 1 and thanks to her eccentric chemistry with Schulz, they even scored a spin-off called ‘Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job’. The show ran for eight episodes in 2014. ‘Storage Wars’ returned in April 2021 with Season 13, where it was revealed that the parents of two were no longer together and had split two years ago. However, they were fine working together.

The struggle is real for Brandi Passante

According to the website The List, when Passante was busy earning fame while filming ‘Storage Wars’, she also ran her thrift store with Schulz. However, they soon realized that they needed to balance out things. Speaking on the same, Passante told Filipino entertainment site PEP, "We figured out a balance because we're together 24/7. You cannot bring your work life into your home life, so whatever conflict we ever had during the day, we let it go when we come home.”

Apart from managing her career, the TV star also raised her children simultaneously. When asked if she experienced “mom guilt” during an interview with Starcasm, she revealed that her experience as a working mother proved to be the opposite. "I think I'm a better parent because I work,” she said, adding that she felt alienated and depressed without a career. “I'm happier because of it.” When asked how she juggles her motherhood with her career, she asserted, “If there's a formula, I haven't figured it out yet!” She continued, “I work all the time, so I need someone to assist with the day-to-day stuff, but I do try to make time for the kids.”
