Here’s how Bones met Caitlin
Bones and Caitlin first met each other during the premiere of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2019. While Bones was on the sets to meet 'DWTS' alum Lauren Alaina, Caitlin had accompanied her best friend who worked in public relations for ABC. However, sparks didn’t immediately fly between the duo. Talking about their first encounter, Bones told PeopleNow, "We didn't really hit it off the first time we met. We were just like 'Hi, what's up?' and then we started talking on Instagram like a month later."
Even though they had learned about each other, Bones recollected how their first date was a tad bit awkward as Caitlin did not know the purpose of their meeting. However, he didn’t stop trying at that. The 'DWTS' winner said, "We went out, and then we went out again, and we were luckily at the point in our relationship where it was like, 'Hey, do you just want to quarantine together?'" The coronavirus-induced lockdown couldn’t have worked better for the couple as it bought them the time to get to know each other better. The next thing we know, Bones had placed a ring on his beloved girlfriend’s finger.
"So she came here (to Nashville) from Los Angeles — we've been here for several weeks and it's been great," Bones said.
