Who is Bob Odenkirk's daughter? 'Better Call Saul' star reveals how she helped him recover after he suffered a sudden heart attack
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Two years after suffering a sudden heart attack, the 'Better Call Saul' star Bob Odenkirk revealed how his daughter Erin Odenkirk, who has pursued a career in visual arts, helped him recover.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, October 10, the 60-year-old star shared details about the horrifying occurrence.
How did Erin Odenkirk help Bob Odenkirk recover from his heart attack?
After suffering a massive heart attack and collapsing on set while shooting an episode of 'Better Call Saul', Bob was taken to the hospital, where he spent quite a few days.
To make his stay more comfortable and make his recovery swift, Erin drew up a chart, like the Christopher Nolan movie 'Memento' so that he could keep track of his life.
During the interview, Bob recalled, "Every day I woke up and I didn’t know what had happened to me or kind of almost what was happening."
However, Erin’s chart helped him navigate his day smoothly, as the actor said, "And Erin made a nice chart. It was her version of the movie ‘Memento,’ where I could look up and see, ‘You had a heart attack, these people visited, then you came to, you had the surgery'."
In the interview, where Erin was also present, the 22-year-old visual artist quipped, "Almost every morning you would wake up and try to get out of bed to go walk to set to finish shooting your scenes," as per The Huffington Post.
She continued narrating the difficulties of trying to make Bob get his rest, explaining, "That was a big part of the recovery was trying to get you to stay in the room and sleep and not go to work."
