LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has identified Andreea Catalina Rosca as the culprit who stole actress Lily Collins' possessions.

An arrest warrant has been issued against Rosca for allegedly stealing the 'Emily in Paris' star's possessions from a spa at a five-star hotel in Los Angeles in May.

As per Daily Mail, the suspect has ties to Romanian organized theft gangs and is wanted by the LA County Sheriff's office. They are also asking for the public's assistance in apprehending her.

Andreea Catalina Rosca is wanted for at least two burglaries

The suspected thief, Andreea Catalina Rosca, 34, has been charged with stealing Collins' gadgets, a wedding band, and an engagement ring.

Rosca has also been accused of stealing the actress's credit cards and then using the credit card information to make false IDs and purchase jewelry worth over $67,000.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that Rosca is wanted for at least two burglaries in which she stole credit cards and valuables from lockers at a hotel spa and yoga class.

The West Hollywood Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on Rosca, who is described as a female adult White woman, about 34 years old, 5 ft 1 inch, 100 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.

Rosca, who remains at large, is further charged with using her illegal activities to create a false identity and a Washington State ID card under the name "Nicole Morri."

Investigators said that Rosca is also “known to travel the country committing similar crimes and is associated with Romanian Organized Theft Groups," per KTLA.

Due to Rosca's alleged connections to organized crime in Romania, Collins became a target of her travels around the United States, where she was staying at a luxurious spa in the spring.

Authorities revealed to TMZ that Rosca was the jewel thief who allegedly stole Collins' valuables in May when the actress was unwinding at a hotel spa.

Collins, 34, had concealed many electronics, her engagement ring, her wedding band, and other personal belongings inside a spa locker.

The actress discovered upon her return that her possessions had been stolen, but there was no indication of any kind of forced entrance.

The growing list of high-profile burglaries

At least $5.5 million was stolen from residences during a nearly two-year period between December 2016 and July 2018, with one Beverly Hills residence losing 150 expensive items for a total of $2.5 million in a single raid, as per the report.

This Rosca-Collins incident adds to the increasing number of well-known break-ins that occurred in 2023. Collins is one of many A-list stars who have been the target of criminals in recent years.

Prominent individuals such as Miles Teller, Drake, and Kellyn Acosta of the Los Angeles FC have all experienced theft in the past few months.

Another Los Angeles man was sentenced to 31 years in jail for a string of robberies in the Hollywood area one week ago.

Benjamin Ackerman, 37, received a sentence for organizing burglaries of high-profile victims while using a fake real estate agent identity.

He was apprehended for his part in the theft of jewels, luxury handbags, shoes, and artwork valued at millions of dollars from famous victims like Usher and Adam Lampert.
