Who is Alexander Kardalian? Miley Cyrus gets restraining order against alleged stalker who broke into her home just days after prison release
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miley Cyrus has obtained a court-ordered protective measure against her alleged stalker Alexander Kardalian.
TMZ disclosed this information on September 28, 2023, revealing that the 30-year-old singer, in her legal documentation, asserted that Alexander Kardalian, a 52-year-old individual, appeared at her residence shortly after his recent release from prison.
What did Alexander Kardalian do?
Cyrus, who recently disclosed that her 2014 tour did not yield profits, further claimed that Kardalian has been persistently sending unsolicited letters, detailing his infatuation with her since 2018.
Cyrus alleged in the filing that he has repeatedly demanded money, accompanied by sexually-charged remarks.
Moreover, the singer expressed heightened concern about Kardalian's "obsessive behavior", particularly during the previous summer when he purportedly intruded upon her Los Angeles home without invitation on two separate occasions.
Reportedly, the person in question was escorted off Miley Cyrus's property on both occasions.
Was Miley Cyrus’s stalker arrested?
The 'Permanent December' singer asserted that Alexander Kardalian faced arrest in December 2022, subsequently serving time in San Quentin State Prison until his release in August.
According to Cyrus, shortly after his release, Kardalian allegedly returned to her premises just days later.
In a letter he sent, he purportedly expressed his intent to visit her residence promptly upon his release from prison.
Despite his attempts, her security team intervened during his visits, preventing him from encountering the singer, and promptly informing the police about the situation.
Cyrus maintained that her alleged stalker was explicitly warned of potential arrest if he were to return to her residence, a warning he ultimately disregarded.
Additionally, Cyrus claimed that Kardalian had been using her home address for health insurance-related matters.
Cyrus claimed that the individual wrote her a letter expressing a disturbing sentiment, stating that he "doesn't give a f*** if he lives" unless she responded to his attempt at communication, creating a threat for her mother and her new boyfriend.
Who is Miley Cyrus' new boyfriend?
Miley Cyrus has expressed deep concerns for her safety, as well as that of her mother Tish, and her new boyfriend Maxx Morando.
In her legal filing, the performer asserted that her alleged stalker was grappling with "severe mental health challenges" and exhibited what she characterized as a "dangerous fixation and/or obsession" with her life.
A judge approved the request, imposing strict measures that prohibit Kardalian from any form of contact with her.
The court mandate stipulates that he must steer clear of her musical or public appearances, maintaining a distance of at least 100 yards from the singer, her residence, vehicle, and any venues where she performs.
