Who is Colton Underwood dating? Here's why 'Bachelor' star deleted Instagram posts after ex's restraining order
Television personality, NFL star and former 'Bachelor' Colton Underwood has archived and deleted all the photos on his Instagram account on October 6, just a day after his ex Cassie Randolph dropped her restraining order against him.
However, his account is yet to be completely deactivated. The motive behind the move is not clearly specified yet. What is known is that the couple was going through a messy relationship before they finally broke up.
“Today, Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me,” the 'Bachelor’ star said a few days before deleting all pictures on his Instagram. “The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”
Earlier, on September 11, his ex-girlfriend Randolph filed a restraining order against Underwood.In the restraining order, Randolph mentioned domestic violence prevention and accused Underwood, an NFL player, of stalking and harassment. Owing to this order, Underwood was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Randolph, her workplace, her home and her car, according to a report by US Weekly.
In October, Randolph filed a police report where she reportedly claimed that Underwood planted a tracking device in her car after their split. She also alleged that Underwood had harassed her via text message and showed up uninvited to her apartment and her parents’ home in the middle of the night.
However, ‘The Bachelor’ alum was shocked by her filing. According to sources cited by US Weekly, he was “absolutely in love with Cassie” and was still upset about their split. “It was clear she did not feel the same way about him,” the insider said. “It was really hard for him.”
The pair met in Season 23 of ‘The Bachelor’, which aired in 2019, and after a year of dating, broke up in May 2020. Colton Underwood dated Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman between 2016 and 2017. PEOPLE reported that the two “kept it quiet for a while” but they have been dating since August of 2016. Raisman told the website, “We happened to both be in Denver at the same time. I was there for less than 12 hours, he was flying in for just a few days. it just ended up working perfectly.”
According to reports, Underwood made an appearance in a video in 2016 to call Raisman on a date. To this, Raisman responded, “Yeah, I would go on a date with him.” After months, the couple was spotted “really happy together” at a red carpet event of Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony 2016 at Barclays Center of Brooklyn, New York. “He had his arm around her throughout the dinner and they laughed a lot”, a source revealed to PEOPLE.
The couple broke up in 2017 where Underwood admitted he was “numb for days”. “Aly FaceTimed me and ended our relationship,” he recalled in his book ‘The First Time’. “I pulled over to the side of the road, stunned and unable to comprehend this was happening … Afterward, I sat in my car and cried. I was numb for days.” Aly Raisman told her beau at the time that “she felt overwhelmed, confused and in need of a break.”
After that breakup, Underwood’s virginity grabbed headlines in 2018. Colton mentioned that he was a virgin while he was a contestant on Becca Kufrin's season of ‘The Bachelorette’. "I spent a lot of time working on football Colton and I sorta forgot who personal Colton was," he said. "And because of that, I still am a virgin."
Underwood dated Cassie Randolph from November 2018 until May 2020. Their love blossomed as the pair met on Season 23 of the ABC dating series ‘The Bachelor’.

According to reports, that photo featured the couple giggling and cuddling up during their New Year’s trip to Las Vegas.
According to reports, once a fan asked if a “Proposal" is coming in 2020? To which Underwood reportedly responded, “Probably.” In 2019, Underwood admitted he "creeped on" Randolph’s Pinterest for proposal ideas. “I’ve creeped on her Pinterest boards, so I already have an idea,” he said reportedly.
However, the couple broke up in May 2020 citing communication gaps. “To put it very frankly, after the show, we realized we weren’t communicating as well as we once did,” Underwood said. “Nobody was forcing us to talk about real things going on, so we let a lot of things build up.”Ultimately, “in a weird way, I kind of broke up with myself,” he added. “I was like, I feel like we need to figure this out and in order to do that, we need space. She agreed. So it was a mutual thing.”
