LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: HBO hit comedy-drama ‘Sex and the City’ icon Sarah Jessica Parker recently revealed that her twin daughters have never watched the show. The award-winning fashion icon is married to actor Matthew Broderick and the couple share three children.
The versatile actress and influential figure Sarah made a shocking revelation about her twin daughters in an interview. Parker and Broderick have a son, James Wilkie, 20, and twin daughters, Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, 13 who were born via surrogacy. During the premier to promote Season 2 of her HBO Max series ‘And Just Like That’, Parker revealed her twins have never seen ‘Sex and the City’ adding, “It’s not something that crossed their viewing radar.”
‘It’s not a paramount topic in their lives'
Parker, 58, made an admission in an interview with Extra TV correspondent Adam Glassman, revealing that her soon-to-be 14-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha haven’t watched ‘Sex and the City’. On Tuesday, June 20, Parker stated, “No, [Marion and Tabitha] have not. They'll be 14 [on June 22], as you know, at the end of this month”. She continued to explain when asked about whether her twins have watched her iconic show, “Thus far — maybe that's unique given the complication of me being their parent — thus far, it's not been something that's crossed their viewing radar, and perhaps it never will. I understand that”.
The interview was conducted virtually. Parker stated that they have no interest in watching ‘SATC’ right now even though they are aware of the show’s existence. She further explained, “They are aware of the show to the degree that they are interested. It's not a paramount topic in their lives”.

In a similar interview, Parker also divulged details about ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 and shared that the upcoming new season will center around Bradshaw's journey of healing and moving forward after experiencing the unexpected loss of her husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth). As part of her healing process, Bradshaw will reconnect with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). She said, “I'm thrilled that Carrie's able to experience happiness and be curious again and explore life as a single woman in New York City.” Parker exclaimed that fans will experience a blend of emotions in Season 2, adding, “It feels buoyant and joyful. And silly and absurd. And sad, and sentimental, and romantic… When someone resurfaces from grief there is an opportunity to be more comfortable with joy”.
