‘It’s not a paramount topic in their lives'

Parker, 58, made an admission in an interview with Extra TV correspondent Adam Glassman, revealing that her soon-to-be 14-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha haven’t watched ‘Sex and the City’. On Tuesday, June 20, Parker stated, “No, [Marion and Tabitha] have not. They'll be 14 [on June 22], as you know, at the end of this month”. She continued to explain when asked about whether her twins have watched her iconic show, “Thus far — maybe that's unique given the complication of me being their parent — thus far, it's not been something that's crossed their viewing radar, and perhaps it never will. I understand that”.

The interview was conducted virtually. Parker stated that they have no interest in watching ‘SATC’ right now even though they are aware of the show’s existence. She further explained, “They are aware of the show to the degree that they are interested. It's not a paramount topic in their lives”.

As part of her healing process, Bradshaw will reconnect with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). She said, “I'm thrilled that Carrie's able to experience happiness and be curious again and explore life as a single woman in New York City.” Parker exclaimed that fans will experience a blend of emotions in Season 2, adding, “It feels buoyant and joyful. And silly and absurd. And sad, and sentimental, and romantic… When someone resurfaces from grief there is an opportunity to be more comfortable with joy”.
