Mick Jagger says his children ‘don’t need $500M to live well' as he plans to leave his fortune to charity
LOS ANGLES, CALIFORNIA: While legendary rocker Mick Jagger has amassed a fortune through the success of his band The Rolling Stones, it appears that his eight children might not benefit from his millions of dollars.
The legendary rocker is father to Karis Hunt Jagger, Jade Sheen, Jezebel Jagger, Elizabeth Scarlett Jagger, James Leroy Augustin Jagger, Georgia May, Ayeesha Jagger, Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger, Lucas Maurice Morad-Jagger, and Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger from various women.
In a recent profile for the Wall Street Journal, the 80-year-old musician hinted that he has no intention of selling The Rolling Stones' post-1971 music inventory.
“The children don’t need $500 million to live well. Come on,” he joked to the publication.
Who did Mick Jagger have his first child with?
In 1970, Mick Jagger became a father for the first time, welcoming his daughter Karis with actress Marsha Hunt.
The subsequent year saw Jagger entering into marriage with ex-wife Bianca Jagger, and together they had a daughter, Jade, in 1971.
Following his union with ex-wife Jerry Hall, spanning from 1990 to 1997, Jagger became a parent to four children: daughters Elizabeth, 39, and Georgia May, 31, as well as sons James, 38, and Gabriel, 25.
