Who are Halle Bailey's siblings? 'The Little Mermaid' star says family bonds helped in honing acting skills
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While the lead actress of the live-action remake of Diney's 1989 hit ‘The Little Mermaid’ may not have six elder sisters, she does have three siblings. Halle Bailey, who will play Ariel in the upcoming movie, has two elder sisters and a younger brother.
The eldest of the Bailey siblings is Ski, who was born in 1992, followed by Chloe in 1998, Bailey in 2000 and the youngest of the lot being their brother, Branson. As Bailey herself admitted in an interview to Variety, they were a close knit family and the close family bonds helped her in not only developing her skills as an actress, but also in honing flawless emotive expressions.

Ski Bailey
The eldest of the Bailey brood is not directly in the limelight as her other two sisters. However, she certainly is not unknown in the glamor world. Boasting 19,000 followers on Instagram, her bio reads, “The Pray & Slay Babe, Digital creator.” A very religious person, she has also written on her Instagram, "God’s child." The fashionista often shares her glamorous photos on social media along with posts on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. The close knit sisters shared photos on Bailey’s birthday in 2022 too.
Ski was recently was in the news when she slammed Halle’s boyfriend DDG for spreading rumors that her sister cheated on him. However, she apologized later, as per Yahoo!

Chloe Bailey
Another famous Bailey sister is Chloe, who is two years older than Bailey. The other half of the R&B duo Chloe X Halle, known for the albums ‘The Kids Are Alright’ (2018) and ‘Ungodly Hour’ (2020). She also featured as a young Lilly in the Beyonce-starrer ‘The Fighting Temptations’ of 2003 when she was just three. When Chloe and Bailey were teenagers, they used to share covers of popular songs on YouTube. Once, Beyonce heard a rendition of her song in a YouTube video, and made the duo her protege. She is also the star of the movie 'Praise This'.
The year 2023 is not just momentous for Bailey. Chloe released her debut album ‘In Pieces’ in 2023. She also starred in the Amazon series ‘Swarm’ where she essayed the role of a pop-star. Chloe and Bailey also starred in the TV show ‘Grown-ish', in which they played twins.
Branson Bailey
The sisters also have a younger brother who was born in 2005. According to his Instagram page, he is an athlete. According to Chloe X Halle fandom, Branson accompanied Chloe and Bailey to the premieres of 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' on December 9, 2017, and 'Everything, Everything' on May 6, 2017.
