LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bruce Springsteen had a hard night in Amsterdam on May 31 when he fell off the stage during a gig. Fortunately, the 73-year-old singer was not seriously injured and was soon back on stage with some help. As they saw the incident unfold, the audience was astounded, as was his family.

The musician prefers to keep his family, particularly his three children, out of the spotlight. However, the singer's offspring do not share his musical tastes and have chosen wildly different professions.

Who are Bruce Springsteen's children?

Everyone in Bruce Springsteen's family is kind-hearted. Evan, Jessica, and Sam, the renowned singer's three children, are now adults, but he and his wife Patti Scialfa are extremely pleased with how they raised such a remarkable bunch. The 'Dancing in the Dark' musician and his longtime partner began their family by welcoming their oldest son, Evan, in 1990. After Bruce and Patti's marriage, Jessica, their second child, was born later that year. The couple then had Sam, their youngest son, in 1994.

Evan, who was born on July 25, 1990, shares his parents' love of music. Bruce has humorously admitted that none of his children truly knew the lyrics to any of his songs, despite the fact that he occasionally enjoys singing and performing on stage with his father. Evan may not be the biggest admirer of his father's Hollywood profession, but that may be because Bruce and Patti kept Evan and his siblings out of the spotlight. Evan continues to avoid the spotlight these days, with the exception of occasional appearances on his parents' social media pages or at red carpet events.

Jessica has her father's determination, while Evan has Bruce's musical abilities. The brunette beauty, who was born on December 30, 1991, is "regarded as one of the leading US equestrian riders on the circuit," and she has no intention of slowing down, according to CNN. Jessica once said that the relationship she has with her horse, Don Juan Van de Donkhoeve, is the key to her success.

Jessica accomplished a once-in-a-lifetime feat in July 2021 when she was selected to represent Team USA at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. Jessica, together with Kent Farrington, Laura Kraut, and McLain Ward, made up the squad.

Sam, who was born on January 5, 1994, is passionate about putting out flames. In fact, the venerable rock 'n' roller was there to support Sam when he was sworn in as a fireman in New Jersey in January 2020. Sam worked as a volunteer fireman for the Monmouth County Fire Department in his parent's hometown of Colts Neck before landing a job with the Jersey City Fire Department. He also earned his degree from the Monmouth County Fire Academy in 2014, as per reports.

Despite their father being one of the most legendary artists of all time, Bruce admits his children aren't really fond of his music. He said, "We had our kids late, I was 40 when our first son was born, and they showed a healthy disinterest in our work over all the years. They had their own musical heroes, they had their own music they were interested in. They'd be pretty blank-faced if someone mentioned a song title of mine," as reported by People. During an appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show' in 2022, he said, "Now they have virtually no interest in music or in that part of my life. ... But as I always say, 'They don't need a hero, they need a father."
