Prinsloo said, "My doctor at a certain point was like, 'I just want to let you know, this is kind of the point, if you were going to get anything... this is it.' She was like, 'It's up to you... nobody's putting pressure on you, do what you feel.' I was like, 'I feel really good... I think I'm... just gonna go with this feeling right now.'"
Prinsloo also humorously mentioned her aversion to water birth and said, "At one point they're like, ‘Do you want to get in the water?’ and I was like, ‘Absolutely not. I cannot think about something worse right now than to be wet.' I was like, ‘No way — no water is getting on this body!'"
As she recounted her childbirth experience, Prinsloo described a "rollercoaster" of emotions, where she felt both bliss and pain. She recalled a moment just before giving birth when a doula took a picture of her laughing, highlighting the intensity of the experience.

The model further implied the gender of their third child by referring to the baby as "he" during the discussion.
“I'm pushing and I think the hardest part for me was when he ... I was so exhausted, but ... I was in this state of bliss but also insane pain and bliss and pain and bliss, and I was fighting this... rollercoaster of feelings and pain...levels," she told Wright Olsen, 40, and Palmer, 37.
"There's an amazing photo that my doula showed me... I think 12 minutes before I gave birth, before he came out,” Prinsloo continued.
“She took a picture and I was laughing. And looking back at that, I was like, 'Wow, that's so crazy,' because in that moment ... it was tunnel vision for me. I was just ... [trying to] get through this," she added.
"And I remember when I started feeling the ring of fire, and he was coming through,” the model further said.
Adam Levine's support and 'nervous eating' during childbirth
Prinsloo also shared her husband's involvement in the birth. Levine, who had been present for their first two children's births, supported her throughout the third birth. She mentioned that he still talks about the experience, which he considered his "favorite thing to watch and to be there and to help me through."
Prinsloo felt a strong connection with her baby during delivery and expressed her amazement at the strength of women in general. She recounted her husband cutting the umbilical cord, joking that it was a "mess" due to his left-handedness.
“He’s a leftie, so... the scissors, it’s always a mess,” she joked, sharing that her husband was “so nervous."

“It was also on his brother's birthday, so they had donuts. And Adam had about a dozen donuts, because … nervous eating," Prinsloo said as she laughed, having earlier revealed that she discovered her husband is a "stress eater" during her first birth.
During the podcast, Prinsloo talked about her journey to get pregnant for the third time, mentioning that it took longer than expected and that the couple had considered it might be a sign to stop.
“It actually took longer than expected, so we were kind of like also thinking maybe that's a sign,” she told Wright Olsen and Palmer, adding, “You know maybe we're good, and then of course I get pregnant.”
However, fate had other plans as she eventually became pregnant with their third child.
Despite experiencing three different childbirth journeys, Prinsloo remained uncertain about the possibility of a fourth child.
The podcast episode also came after the family's trip to France, where they shared glimpses of their third-born on social media, capturing moments of family bonding and laughter.
