Now that the Covid-19 outbreak has subsided, Whitney is planning further travels in 2024. With the pandemic behind us, she has been able to explore more freely, sharing breathtaking images from her recent trips. Whitney recently posted a fun video from her vacation to Morocco on Instagram. However, the Wednesday, March 20 post has sparked criticism from fans, particularly animal lovers, who believe it drew attention to animal brutality in tourism.

One user commented under the post, "I wish people realized that camels and elephants are not for riding. They are treated horribly and it’s inhumane. Leave these poor animals alone!!!" Another user requested, "Those camels for tourists are unfortunately treated awful 😢please never take a ride on them."

One follower, however, criticized the ride, saying, "Supporting animal neglect / cruelty." Another wrote, "That creature is not here for your entertainment. #animalcruelty 💔." One fan of the show wrote, "Thought you of all people would know how these poor animals are treated." "Nooooo! These poor animals are treated terribly by these tourism companies. This makes me so sad," added another.

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life's Whitney Way Thore lost 100lbs without 'medical intervention'

Whitney has long been a champion of body positivity, openly discussing her perspective on health and well-being. In a recent update, the star of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' revealed that she has shed a remarkable one hundred pounds. Whitney made the news on Instagram in a post honoring her father's birthday, but she also stated that she is uncomfortable with people making remarks about her physique.

“I hate addressing this, but no, I have not had medical intervention to lose weight,” Whitney wrote in the description of a recent Instagram image. “In 2015 (season 1), I weighed 385 pounds. In 2018, I lost 50 pounds. When my mom got sick and eventually died, I lost 50 more. I weigh 285 pounds, and I have been this weight for almost a year now.”

In a September 2023 interview with ET, the 39-year-old reality TV celebrity clarified the situation. "I think it's obvious that I have lost some weight, and that is true," she went on to say. "And people say, like, 'Is it surgery?' and I'm like, 'No, it's grief, but thanks.'" "I see a lot of chatter online, and people have asked me, 'Have you had weight loss surgery?' or something like that. No, I haven't," Whitney said.

Will there be a Season 12 of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life'?

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 12 has yet to be announced; however, Whitney's social media activities indicate that the series will return. In November, the 39-year-old posted a video of herself visiting Ryne's Seafood Restaurant in Kentucky.

She said that the production team was also present, having lunch. Whitney described her experiences in Alabama in another piece. She joked about the situation and stated, "I can’t really explain what is happening here with my brother, but maybe if you watch the next season, it’ll make the cut." Season 12 of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' will most likely premiere in August 2024.

Who will return for 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 12?

With Glenn Thore's plan to settle near Irvington and Whitney's posts about her travels in Alabama, it's evident that the same cast will return. Viewers would most likely witness Angela 'Angie' Burdett and her extended family and children separate from the Thore family, which includes Whitney, Glenn, and Hunter Thore

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 12 will be more of a continuation of the story that fans watched in 2023. As a result, the series may not see any big departures or additions during Season 12.
