'You f*****g w****s': Amber Heard's sister Whitney Henriquez claims Johnny Depp YELLED at them during brawl
Whitney Henriquez, Amber Heard's younger sister, testified Wednesday, May 18, that Johnny Depp allegedly hit her and called her a "w***e" during a brawl. Henriquez, 34, said in front of a jury in Fairfax, Virginia that Heard was obliged to intervene and order Depp, "Don't hit my f***ing sister." She also spoke up on the alleged controlling behavior of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, stating that he was in charge of her sister's phone, medication, and attire.
Henriquez recalled waking up in the middle of the night in the couple's Los Angeles apartment on March 23, 2015, to Heard in her room asking, "Can you believe he's cheating on me?" She recalled Heard telling her, "Your f***ing brother is cheating on me," alluding to Depp, whom Henriquez used to call "brother."

She tried to console her sister, but the fight escalated onto the mezzanine section of the house, with Depp, 58, and Heard, 36, "screaming horrible things at each other," according to Henriquez. "He called her a 'used-up trash bag,' she called him 'old and fat.'" Depp allegedly assaulted Henriquez in the back while yelling profanities, according to Henriquez.
"'Don't hit my f***ing sister,'" Heard supposedly responded. According to Henriquez, Heard then "landed" a smack on Depp. Heard earlier testified that she struck Depp in the face during the penthouse brawl out of concern for her sister's safety. Depp retaliated by seizing Heard by the hair and repeatedly slapping her across the face.
Eventually, the sisters took sanctuary in a locked chamber. "We could hearing Johnny screaming, 'I f***ing hate you, you f***ing w***es,'" according to Henriquez. "And we could hear smashing." Henriquez awoke the next morning to discover Heard's closet completely damaged, with clothing racks thrown downstairs and artwork ripped from the walls.
Henriquez, however, stated the couple "seemed really in love" during the start of their relationship. Depp allegedly got more controlling and abusive over time, according to Henriquez, starting with him keeping an eye on what Heard wore and what roles she took on. "It started with light jokes," she claimed, referring to Depp's interest in her sister's attire. "Then it intensified. Eventually, they had the same stylist, and he was essentially controlling what she wore to events."
Henriquez stated that her sister's style became "more and more conservative" under Depp's oversight. Depp was in the audience as his former sister-in-law told the jury how he also had influence over Heard's medical treatment by hiring a private nurse to provide drugs. Henriquez remarked, "I didn't think Amber needed medication on the daily."
"Some device of Amber’s would get smashed," Henriquez claimed. Her sister "lost a phone, a tablet, a laptop," she added. Henriquez claimed that the couple's quarrels were frequently sparked by something Depp spotted on Heard's phone. Henriquez claims that her sister was eventually denied the use of a password on her phone. It had to be something basic that "[Depp] memorized" if she did use a code.
Henriquez's latest comments follow her more detailed testimony in Depp's high-profile libel trial in the United Kingdom in 2020, which he lost. Henriquez claimed in her prior testimony that she "begged" her sister not to marry Depp. She also refuted claims that Heard had previously assaulted her, claiming that the reports were attempting to "create a story and a narrative that wasn’t there." Before leaving the stand, Henriquez was briefly cross-examined by Depp's attorney Rebecca Lecaroz. Hers was the latest testimony in the trial, which is currently in its fifth week.
