Where is Theophilus London? Rapper, 35, who collaborated with Kanye West vanished 6 months ago

The rapper from Trinidad and Tobago who has worked with Kanye West, Tame Impala and more, was reported missing by his friends and family

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper Theophilus London has been reported missing by family and friends, who have claimed he has not been heard from since July. London has collaborated with Kanye West and other popular musicians. The 35-year-old hails from Trinidad and Tobago, but recently moved to Los Angeles home.

London's family filed a missing person’s report on Tuesday, December 27, with the LAPD, TMZ reported. Those close to London have urged the public to come forward with any information they may have about his whereabouts. London is described as Black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 175 pounds, with dark brown eyes, New York Post reported. Anyone who has any information has been asked to contact LAPD, or London’s cousin Mikhail Noel on Instagram.

Variety obtained a statement from London's family, who said they have spent the last few days frantically searching for London. "Over the last few weeks, friends and family of Theophilus London have been working together to piece together his whereabouts. The last time someone spoke with him reportedly stretches back to July 2022 in Los Angeles," the statement read. "On December 27th, family members of Theophilus London traveled to Los Angeles to file a missing persons report with the LAPD. They are now seeking the public’s help with any information as to London’s whereabouts."

“Theo, your Dad loves you, son. We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son," the statement quoted Lary Moses London, Theophilus London's father, as saying. 

London was involved in Kanye West's 'Donda' album. He has released three studio albums, and is known to have worked with renowned artists like Travis Scott, Tame Impala, Ellie Goulding and Big Boi. Back in January 2020, he dropped his 'Bebey' album. 

A 2014 article by New York Post described London as “Kanye and Karl Lagerfeld’s hip-hop brainchild." It said that London spent a good part of his childhood in Flatbush, Brooklyn. “I lived all over — Harlem, Queens, and I read the New York Post all the time!” London had said. “I’m not just from Brooklyn — I’m from New York.”
