LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ruby Rose, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, established her popularity as the main character of the popular TV series 'Orange is the New Black'. The Australian actress, 37, who played the lead in the Warner Bros TV series 'Batwoman' had made numerous allegations about working conditions on the set. The said TV show ran from October 6, 2019, to March 2, 2022, but things took a surprising turn when Rose departed the show, citing toxic working circumstances before the second season, in which Javicia Leslie was cast as the new lead.

However, some sources claimed that the famous actor didn't depart but was rather was fired from the Warner Bros show. A production assistant named Alexander J Baxter remarked about Rose's behavior during the shoot. He said, "Yea fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. As soon as the issue surfaced, the actress's fans were stunned to learn of it and soon, there were rumors that she was "leaving Hollywood and returning to Australia". The Daily Telegraph claimed at the time that the actress "will retreat to her old stomping ground for the summer" after engaging in a dispute with the production company on allegations of bullying, which they have refuted.

'I can finally take back my life and the truth'

The actress, who was allegedly let go from her role as Kate Kane after just one season, said that former Warner Bros Chairman Peter Roth "forced" her to return to work after a neck injury surgery and hired a private investigator to look into her. The Australian actress also criticized the show's producer Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of Berlanti Productions, threatening to "come for you so what happened to me never happens to another person again."

"I'm going to tell the whole world what really happened to me on that set. I will come for you so what happened to me never happens to another person again. And so I can finally take back my life and the truth. Shame on you," Rose said at that time.

'Nor did I quit'

She also said that Peter Roth pressured her to go back to work only 10 days after the surgery, and she blamed this for her 'stiff' performance. "To everyone who said I was too stiff on Batwoman, imagine going back to work 10 days after this," said Rose, and added, "To my dear, dear fans still asking if I will return to that awful show, I wouldn't return for any amount of money nor if a gun were to my head… NOR DID I QUIT."

What is Rose doing now?

Rose is co-starring in the brand-new Hollywood movie titled 'The Collective'. The Australian actress has revealed that she will appear in a Hollywood thriller in 2023. The screenplay was written by Matt Rogers and Jason James and directed by Tom DeNucci ('Johnny & Clyde'). Richard Switzer, Jordan Beckerman, and Jordan Yale Levine are the producers. The movie will be released on August 4, 2023.

"This is an incredible cast that will take the audience on an absolutely action-packed ride," stated Quiver Distribution Co-Presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman. "We are thrilled to be teaming up once again with Yale Productions on another exciting movie that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats," as per Deadline.
