BARCELONA, SPAIN: It seems that Spanish footballer Gerard Pique has completely moved on from his 11-year relationship with singer Shakira. Pique, who was accused of cheating on Shakira last year, has reportedly moved his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, into the same home he once shared with his ex.

The house reportedly holds significant memories for Shakira, as it was the place she lived in during her pregnancy with her and Pique's first son, Milan, who is now 10 years old. "It was in 2012, the images of the pregnancy and going to the hospital were in that house," said journalist Pepe del Real, per El Programa de Ana Rosa. "Shakira lived in that house in 2012 when she arrived in Spain," he said.

'It is not a new love nest'

He added, "What's more, the images of Shakira leaving the hospital, of her pregnant and arriving at the house were in that house, which is in the town of Cambrils. It's quite secure, it's not next to the sea but it does have a lot of privacy. It is an old Pique house, I imagine that he would have rented it or used it on a weekend. It is not a new love nest; it is a house that they are going to use to go live or settle for summer with Clara Chia." Cambrils is a small port town on Spain's Costa Daurada, southwest of Barcelona. The lovebirds might spend their summer in the house that affords more privacy that Pique's home in Barcelona.

Pique has an apartment in Barcelona, where he lived before meeting Shakira. Situated on Muntaner Street, one of the city's most exclusive areas, Pique purchased the luxurious apartment in 2009 for 4 million euros ($4.3 million USD). Since then, the property's value has surged significantly, now estimated to be worth a staggering 40 million euros ($43 million USD), making it a highly valuable asset for the athlete. The apartment boasts several floors, a spacious terrace, a stunning infinity pool, and even a private football pitch. Now, Pique and his new girlfriend have decided to leave Pique's Barcelona apartment and move into the mansion he once shared with Shakira, which is just a few meters away from the beach.

Shakira and Lewis Hamilton allegedly meeting secretly at singer's villa

Pique's decision to move on comes amidst rumors surrounding his ex-wife Shakira and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. According to Spanish TV channel Telecinco, the Colombian star and Hamilton were seen getting cozy at various events, and they allegedly had three secret meetings at Shakira's Ibiza villa. There were reportedly three encounters between Shakira and the race car driver at her villa earlier this month while the Formula 1 season was on a break. "When the workers left, the singer stayed alone with her private escort and received a visit from Hamilton," reporter Sergio Garrido said.
