FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE: Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose tied the knot on Tuesday, October 10, in an "ethereal celebration of love" in a ceremony on a mountaintop reportedly in Franklin, Tennessee.

"10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony," read the couple's Instagram post featuring a series of their wedding pictures.

"It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined."

"For both of us to hear the preacher say, 'Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife' that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!", the Cyrus and Firerose concluded the post.

How did Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose meet?

Cyrus and Firerose, who revealed their engagement news on September 13, 2022, connected during a musical collaboration together in 2021, reports ET Online.

The Australian singer confirmed her relationship with the country singer in August 2022 through a birthday post.

"The world is a better place with you in it. Happy Birthday, Billy," Firerose captioned a picture of Cyrus and herself.

Firerose recalls moment Billy Ray Cyrus wanted to make their relationship 'official'

The 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer previously stated he met his now-wife 12 years ago in Los Angeles at the set of the Disney Channel series 'Hannah Montana', a show he "loved doing."

"There's a couple of old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee. [My late German Shepherd] Tex and I would go out there in the middle of the day and he'd take care of his business and we'd stretch and I'd think how much I missed Tennessee," he remembered.

"On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don't know, recognition. I was like, 'This girl's a star.'"

Firerose who was curious to see Tex came over to say, Hi. "She told me she'd had an audition and I said, ‘Well, I'm sure you got the job'", he said.

The duo eventually became musical collaborators and in the summer of 2022, she moved to Cyrus' farm in Franklin. The 'I Need You Know' singer proposed to her in August.

"It was really just this moment where Billy looked at me and said 'Do you wanna marry me?' He didn't get down on one knee or anything," Firerose disclosed of Cyrus' proposal.

"He said, 'I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever,'" she added.
