RHONY fans feel Season 13 is better off without virtual reunion, here's why
'Real Housewives of New York City' has always been the golden child of Bravo. Despite the several other 'Real Housewives' franchises that the network has to offer, fans have time and again found themselves drawn to the raw and over-the-top drama served by the Big Apple ladies. Be it Ramona Singer's delusions of grandiosity or Bethenny Frankel's shady behavior, 'RHONY' has consistently entertained fans.
When Season 13 was announced with Eboni Williams as the first Black housewife of the franchise, fans were beyond excited. With fan-favorite housewives like Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer leaving the show, fans were curious to see how the new season would pan out. Although it started off on a high note, things quickly went downhill with Ramona's racism and ignorance on full display in nearly every episode of the show, and Eboni constantly preaching about Black Excellence. Fans were beginning to grow tired of watching the same thing over and over on every episode of 'RHONY'. So when the finale was announced, fans were beyond relieved. But the 'Real Housewives' finale is always filled by an explosive reunion usually hosted by the show's executive producer- Andy Cohen.

When will the 'RHONY' Season 13 reunion air?
Andy usually reaches out to the audience weeks in advance announcing the filming of the reunion and asks the audience to shoot away their most burning questions about the show or the ladies, which he would then ask them during the reunion. Fans usually look forward to the reunions as it ties up all the loose ends and is also very dramatic. But with Season 13 being touted as a 'boring season', many fans took to their Twitter to express their lack of enthusiasm or excitement over the upcoming reunion. Some fans even went to the extent of saying that Season 13 doesn't require a reunion.
Surprisingly, Andy hasn't reached out to the audience either asking them to shoot away their questions. He instead announced on his radio show that the Season 13 reunion would be filmed just before the finale aired and also hinted at the event possibly being a virtual event as Ramona and Luann de Lesseps weren't in the city. Since the reunion is being filmed at the last hour, it looks like there might be a break or hiatus between the finale and reunion. The network is yet to announce the dates for the 'RHONY' season 13 reunion.
In the meanwhile, fans are surprised over how the reunion might not air immediately after the finale. A fan tweeted, "So next week is the season finale of #RHONY but we have no reunion filmed? Yikes.." Another fan wrote, "Season finale Reunion is still in limbo This is the first in housewives herstory #rhony." "If the season finale is next week and they haven’t filmed a reunion yet, why do I foresee some half-baked WWHL special #RHONY," commented a fan.

"This season honestly doesn’t need a reunion. I can’t see them filling a 2-parter. I’d be good without one this year. #RHONY," expressed a fan. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "This season honestly doesn’t need a reunion and I think we’d be better off without it. #RHONY." "Virtual #RHONY reunion, no fan questions, and it won’t air right after the finale…," pointed out a fan.

Season 13 reunion will definitely be an explosive one irrespective of whether the audience's questions are gathered or not. Ramona might come under fire for the racist and anti-semitic remarks that she made through the course of the season. While Leah McSweeney and Ramona continue feuding over each other's behavior on the show. Eboni has already revealed in her previous interviews that she would confront Luann during the reunion, so we have that to look forward too. While Sonja Morgan might be subject to sympathy and concerns from her co-stars over her excessive drinking.
'Real Housewives of New York City' Season 13 airs every Tuesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
