'When I was the Most Beautiful' Finale Promo: Ye-ji tells Hwan she loves him but will they end up together?
Hwan (Ji Soo) overheard Ye-ji (Lim Soo-hyang) tell his brother Jin (Ha Seok-jin) that she loves Hwan, that the reason she had been able to stay strong despite everything that had taken place in the last few years was because of him. Just as Hwan had confessed his feelings for Ye-ji while the three of them had sat down to have some wine, Ye-ji too has moments that are unforgettable which she had shared with Hwan. The depth of the feeling that the two of them have for each other is clear but is Jin really blind to all of this or is he attempting to get his brother and Ye-ji together. The more he says he can trust Ye-ji but not his brother to stay away from, the more it breaks Ye-ji's heart and all of this results in a barrage of emotions within her resulting in her confession.
After overhearing this conversation, Hwan sleeps over it and the next morning, when he sees Ye-ji he asks her if she really loved him and if she continues to love him still. In the promo, we hear Ye-ji tell Hwan that she loves him, but we are not sure if this is her response to Hwan's question or if this comes up during a conversation at a later time. Then there is also the matter of Ye-ji and Hwan looking extremely close and at a beach. Are the two away on a trip? We are not sure. However, it is clear that the two of them have come to regret all the time that they had to share apart. In fact, one of the things that Ye-ji tells Hwan is that it is unfair how all this while, the two were forced into a situation where they couldn't even share a hug and now, with her confession of love, they might just kiss each other.
The question now is if the two will end up together or if they will part after confessing their feelings for each other. We see Hwan tell Ye-ji that all he needs in his life is one person. One person who understands him, who understands that he is in pain even without having to tell her, the one person who would respect him and the effort that he puts into their relationship. This was his confession to Jin, and now, in the promo, he tells Ye-ji that all he needs in his life is her, Oh Ye-ji. Can Ye-ji really ignore all the warnings that she had got from her mother-in-law and her husband about how her relationship with Hwan is something that can never be? Or will she really leave the judgemental society behind to lead a life that makes her happy?
'When I was Most Beautiful' will air on MBC on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9.30 pm KST. It will be available on Viu outside South Korea.
