When Chelsea Handler fired volleys at 'bad girl' Angelina Jolie: 'She seems like a demon!'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chelsea Handler, who is the host of 'Chelsea Lately', has a long history of publicly criticizing actress Angelina Jolie. On the March 5 episode of Bravo's 'Watch What Happens Live', the comedienne made some brutal remarks about the 'Girl, Interrupted' star.
"She seems like a demon," Chelsea Handler said of Angelina Jolie. "It has nothing to do with Jennifer. As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that's a bad girl. I just don't like Angelina Jolie. I don't think she's a girl's girl. I like girl's girls!"
Chelsea Handler's jokes about Jolie and her son
Chelsea Handler initially gained attention for making jokes about Angelina Jolie and her son Maddox Jolie-Pitt during a Comedy Central special in 2007. "He's so pissed off because he probably thought he was, like, scoring the biggest deal of his lifetime, getting adopted by this famous movie star, who was gonna rescue him from his third world Cambodia, only to find out she's gonna take him to every other f**king third world country in the world," she joked in her act.
'She doesn't come off as a sincere woman'
"He's probably like, 'When the f**k are we getting to Malibu like you promised?'" she said in another bitter interview for the May 2012 cover of More magazine. 'The After Lately' star claimed that she didn't consider the 'Original Sin' actress to be trustworthy and wouldn't have a close friendship with her. Handler also insisted Angelina Jolie "doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with."
Furthermore, she explained why she used Angelina Jolie as fodder for her stand-up routines, calling her "a homewrecker" and "a f**king c**t." "Yeah, I'm not a fan hers," she claimed in a 2010 interview for Glamour. "She just doesn't come off to me as a sincere woman. She seems like a woman that you'd really want to avoid." She also drew a contrast with Jennifer Aniston. Handler said Aniston, on the other hand, "makes me laugh. She's irreverent and hilarious, and she sends me really, really funny e-mails."
