American cosmetic master, YouTuber and Instagram influencer, Ethan Peters, who was known among his fans as Ethan is Supreme died at the age of 17 years due to an apparent drug overdose. The news regarding his tragic death was made public by his fellow influencers and friends, who took to Twitter to mourn his loss. 

Social media influencer Ava Louise shared a devastating tweet remembering her “twin flame” on September 6. She wrote, “My best friend in the entire world, my twin flame.....the only person there for me when I had no one. I love you, Ethan, I am at a loss for words. I wish I knew how bad it was. I know what you’d want me to say to the Internet rn but I’m to heartbroken to say it. Rip”



 

While not many details regarding the exact nature of the drug has been revealed by the reports, Louise had claimed that "2 perc" killed Peters."2 percs killed my best friend. ONLY 2. Don’t do them or if you wanna at least f**king test them first. Be safe- you don’t want your best friend to feel what I feel right now."



 

On a heart-wrenching note, she further added that Peters was "battling addiction". She writes, "Addiction is a disease. I had to pull Ethan aside in recent weeks and have talks with him about his usage. Everyone close to him was scared. I just wish I f**king tried harder I f**king wish I yelled at him more I wish I didn’t enable a single pill he popped."



 

Peters had gained a reputation as one of the finest cosmetics craftsman, thanks to his posts and videos. He enjoyed over 500,000 followers on Instagram. Peters had over 138,000 subscribers on YouTube. The web-based media start garnered more popularity through his cosmetic videos and tutorials which he began in March 2016. While information regarding his wealth is scarce, a few reports suggest that he allegedly basked in the net worth between $3 and $5 million. This reportedly includes all of his assets and income. 

Peters was reportedly born in Texas in 2003. He was openly gay and never shied away from talking about his true identity. He had once revealed that he was "kicked out of school" for being gay. According to Vice.com, Peters was only 12 years old when he was paid $25,000 for an Instagram page which boasted over 1 million followers. He sold his original account in 2015 and created a new handle, to share his make-up videos. He collaborated with brands such as Makeup for Ever and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Reportedly, he was receiving a payment of $2000 per every sponsored video and on turning 16, his charges were tripled. 

His sheer passion for art and creativity which reflected through his work had won him the appreciation of hundreds and thousands, who have taken to Twitter to express their grief. One tweeted, "So said to hear about Ethanissupreme. 17 years old & dying of a drug overdose. He was too talented and beautiful. He looked like that kid who just got bullied so much but always bounced back!"



 

"Nobody, let alone an 18 year old young man, who was just beginning to live his life, should have to live within the throws of addiction. My heart hurts for this young man, his family, and friend Ava," tweeted another.
