How did Mark Sinclair become Vin Diesel?

The moniker with which the action movie superstar entered Hollywood has two distinct origins. While Vin is the acronym for Vincent, the surname of the man who raised him, Diesel had something of a completely different origin. When he was 17, the ‘XXX’ actor worked as a bouncer in nightclubs including Tunnel, as per CNN. In order to fulfill his job description, he needed a tough-sounding name. Thus comes the name Vin Diesel where Vin is from his stepfather and Diesel is from friends. due to his energetic nature, his friends called him Diesel, he revealed the star during an interview with Conan O'Brien. Thuis, Hollywood’s first “multicultural” megastar was born.
