Some may argue that Tina could have been even more financially successful, if not for her bitter divorce from Ike Turner which left her with just her stage name and a few cars and items of clothing. Real estate and cars
Tina and husband Erwin currently reside in a chateau overlooking Lake Zurich in Switzerland which surprisingly according to some reports they rent. Their landlord interestingly lives in their attic. In a profile for the New York Times, reporter Amanda Hess described the couple's home, which is named the Chateau Algonquin, as having "cartoon palace energy." The home, which overlooks Lake Zurich, has "ivy snaking up the walls, gardeners manicuring the shrubs, a life-size two-legged horse sculpture suspended from a domed ceiling, a framed rendering of Turner as an Egyptian queen, [and] a room stuffed with gilded Louis XIV style sofas."
Tina had a home in Nice in France as well as several properties in the US. In earlier interviews about her home in Nice, France Tina said, "When we heard that this property was for sale, we were told that angels live here,' and we laughed about it. But in fact, it's a very spiritual place—between two mountains, surrounded by woods that are full of wildlife—and that's essential to me. I was raised in the country, come from a Bible-reading family and grew up on church music. My mother's Indian side has given me a different kind of religious heritage. Up here the wind and clouds breeze through the house, and the sky makes mesmerizing pictures. I can watch them for hours." However, in an interview with Oprah in 2013, Tina said that she had begun consolidating. Explaining further she said, "I started consolidating. I got rid of the house in France, property in America. Everything that was costly, I got rid of."

It was this car that Tina claims sparked her passion for sports cars. In 1973 Tina’s husband, Ike, bought her a Jaguar XKE V12 roadster. The two Jaguars were the few possessions that Tina was left after her divorce from Ike Turner. Besides the Jaguars, has also driven a Lamborghini and a Mercedes G Class at the height of her career.
Success for Tina these days though doesn't seem to lie in material possessions. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2020, Turner says, "Real happiness is indestructible and does not depend on material circumstances, which constantly change. Real happiness starts with the conviction that being alive is itself a joy. And we already have within us everything we need to tap into this potential. To me, happiness means feeling confident and joyful, knowing that my inner wisdom can guide me to make positive choices in life, no matter what circumstances I’m facing."
