SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actor Gabriel Jarret, who starred as Mitch Taylor in ‘Real Genius’ was caught in a predator sting operation by the Creep Catcher Unit, a child activist organization that works to expose pedophiles who prey on victims online.
The 53-year-old allegedly sent explicit texts to a person he thought was a 13-year-old girl named "Cindy," but it turned out to be a decoy account set up by the CC Unit.
He had planned to meet the supposed teen in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, September 10, according to screenshots of messages obtained by Daily Mail.
However, upon arrival, Jarret was confronted by the CC Unit frontman, who goes by the alias "Ghost." The unit also shared footage of the confrontation on social media, but it has since been deleted.

What did Gabriel Jarret say to the supposed teenager?
The Creep Catcher Unit claimed to the Daily Mail that they had been texting Gabriel Jarret for more than a year while posing as an underage teenage girl.
He allegedly started texting the decoy account "Cindy" in 2022 and continued to do so when the person told him, "I'm 13 years old," and that she had just turned 14.
The supposed teenager also claimed to be a "Freshman" and that she "can't wait to get her driving permit," to which Jarret replied, "Lol….that is awesome….see you're getting there…..good for you."
As per the CC Unit, the number used to message the decoy account reportedly matched the one Jarret had previously entered on court filings in Los Angeles from 2018.
In the texts, the ‘Karate Kid III’ actor was seen trying to groom the supposed teen by asking questions concerning her sexual experience.

"Have you had any new experiences? [...] Please don't be shy….. You will not shock me and I will not judge u," allegedly wrote Jarret as he asked the apparent teen to describe her date with another boy.
He further inquired, "Did u f**k? And or was he any good?" Jarret, whose true last name is Kronsberg, even went as far as to ask, "Did you f**k," regarding the boys she had met online, and told her, "How hard my c**k is when chatting with you," and that he wanted to perform oral sex on her, as per Daily Mail.
Other texts indicate that the two could have switched their chat to the Kik app. The alleged Kik account with the username Manticor Typhon has a picture of him, and the handle "nicademus700" matches email addresses linked to Jarret.
How did Gabriel Jarret respond after being confronted by the CC Unit?
When Gabriel Jarret eventually went to meet the supposed teen, he was confronted by my CC Unit’s frontman, who exposed him on camera, and the actor simply denied sending the disgusting messages, saying, "I'm not meeting a 13-year-old girl."
He added, "I've got someone that was calling me again and again, and I told her again and again, er, you know, you need to stop this. And she started getting insistent, whatever. And I'm here to tell her to stop," continuing, "She said she was 18."
In the Kik texts, Jarret had apparently shown concern about meeting with the supposed teen as he wrote, "It's not completely safe… That's my point why can't you just prepare yourself for what you wanna do and then we'll meet up," adding, "It's my freedom. You tell me what you want to be prepared for I will confirm it… That way I can stay safer."
After he was exposed by the CC Unit, Jarret called himself a victim of entrapment, as per FOX 11 News. When asked why he sent sexual messages to a 14-year-old girl, he asserted that she was the one sending the explicit messages.
The actor even stated that he wanted to meet the girl in person to tell her to stop texting and "let her off easy."
All the evidence against Jarret has been handed over to the Santa Monica Police Department by the CC Unit, and the authorities notified, "The circumstances alleged by the reporting party remain under investigation by SMPD."
