What is the plot of ‘Spring Breakthrough’?

Monica Rollins is a single mother who has recently lost her job and can't wait for her daughter Vivian to return home. However, her daughter announces that she is engaged to Shawn and that their engagement festivities will take place in Gulf Shores. Monica is taken aback by the announcement because, first, she had no idea Vivian was dating someone and that it was serious, and second, she didn't think her daughter would get engaged so young.

Monica decides to travel to Gulf Shores to return home with the couple separated, but at the airport, she meets Clark Randall and there are instant sparks. Clark Randall, Shawn's godfather, tells Monica that, while she believes the children are too young to get married, Shawn is a good and mature man. Monica and Clark begin to spend time together, and she begins to open up about love and perhaps reconsider her views about Vivian's engagement, making her wonder if this was the Spring Break she required.

‘Spring Breakthrough’ will premiere on April 30 on Hallmark Channel.
